If you love soul Caribbean food and playing pool this is the place! Super chill good people and vibes and the cook omg!, Brenda’s Hands are blessed! I had the jerk chicken, super tender, spicy and flavorful enough to enjoy and also tried their whiting dish as well that my brother ordered. I look forward to coming back to try other platters!! Im always skeptical of ordering from restaurants that have very large menus because they never seem to master one particular dish. I ordered on Grub Hub. Order came in a timely fashion. Unfortunately their plating sizes do not match up to their pricing. The small dish pictured is a $17.00 large order of oxtails. It comes in a small container. Gravy is good but the meat is chewy. Mac & cheese consistency is great but it is flavorless. Rice and beans aren’t too bad a little hard but not terrible. I feel as though I’m eating leftovers.

This is a small place in east orange. The owner is amazing and her food is an experience: I usually get the fish with Mac and Cheese. Will recommend if you are in the area. You should call. Takes a while for food to be ready but is worth the wait. Get for soul food lovers!

This is some of the worse Jamaican food I have ever had. The curry chicken was pink and uncooked and no flavor at all. The Rice n Peas was so salty it was also inedible. Complete waste of money.

When I ordered stewed chicken, I was thinking that I would be receiving brown stew chicken, I have no idea what this is. The sauce is disgusting and some of the potatoes are still crunchy. The rice and peas is flavorless. I also ordered cabbage and collards and both have no flavor. The Mac and cheese is edible. The chocolate cake is delicious…because they didn’t make it. I ignored the reviews and still ordered. NEVER AGAIN. Thank you GrubHub for my refund.

Ordered from here lastnight. Had an oxtail dinner with Mac and cheese and rice with peas .. worst food I’ve ever had in my life. In fact it made me sick because the food taste like it was spoiled and had been left out from the night before.. Mac and cheese had no flavor and I highly doubt it was not baked! The rice was very mushy had no flavor to it as well, the oxtails was just hard, not falling off the bone and the juice from the oxtails also taste spoiled.. Jesus I’m so mad I wasted my money.. please hire a new chef, I’m still sick as I’m writing this

I orded the Asian chicken wings, chicken patty and cheeseburger. These are the best wings I ever had! Well seasoned and the sauced is delicious and not overpowering. The cheese burger was big and juicy. I will order again and again.

The cornbread was good, they sliced it down the middle and put butter yum! I had the oxtail, rice and peas with plantains. Not the worst oxtail, more of a stew flavor was decent, rice pretty okay and I normally don’t like rice. The plantains was trash. Had a side of Mac an cheese it wasn’t the worst. My fiancé ordered stew chicken, he said it was dry with no flavor and the yams were good.
