Had an amazing lunch date. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. The chicken parm had a very light crispy breading, and the lasagna was an flavorful combination of meat sauce and alfredo. Finished it off with the creme brule and a coffee. Just walking in I could tell that the food would be great based of the aroma of herbs and spices walking in.

I dined with a group of 16+/- on 12/20/25. We were seated cozily and privately in the Atrium. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Fresca, which was cooked to absolute perfection and garnished with asparagus and other vegetables. My margarita complimented the dish well. Our server was Sara, who was so attentive, efficient and very friendly, with a constant, lovely smile! I couldn’t have had a better dining experience!!

We were seated with no wait. We noticed when entering the entryway was very dirty and unkept. When we entered we noticed the dividers between the booths were very dusty. Floors were very dirty and leaves had blown in and were just left on the floor. When seated, the surface of the tabletop was very sticky and needed to be resurfaced or at least put a table cloth over them. Looked like all booths were in the same condition. We didn’t even use the restrooms judging the uncleanliness of the rest of the restaurant. All the rugs and runners looked they had never been cleaned. Food was good, service was good, but the entire restaurant needs a good cleaning and resurfacing the booth tabletops. For the price, we won’t return.

We had lunch yesterday. It’s a really beautiful place inside.
There was paper on the table verses a tablecloth. I asked why and I didn’t get an answer. In my opinion, the paper on the table took away from the class of the establishment.
Our server was pleasant. Although she was busy, she continued to keep a high level of energy with a smile.
The food was good, from the appetizer of Spinach artichoke dip, shaved chicken sandwich and blacken salmon sandwich, all was hot and great flavor.
I recommend this place if you’re looking for a taste of Italian food in an Italy inspired atmosphere

Group of 5 walked in on a slow day about 2.5 hours to close, we were greeted and asked if we had a reservation. Said no. Then she asked again. Again said no. She looks around and says she needs to look for a table.
Mind you the room was almost completely empty. They maybe had 3 or 4 tables of guests.
She comes back and acts like it’s a problem. Someone else comes up and asks if we have a reservation. We say we can leave and go somewhere else if we need to.
They say no. It’s not a problem. They look at their table assignments a couple more minutes. We start to leave and the server comes up and says she can take us. At this point it’s been 15 minutes with us staring at the server desk and we say okay but only if you seat us right now.
The server was super nice and food was great tasting (a tad expensive but good) but that was the weirdest experience I have had just trying to get a table.

Went on Sunday 2/15 and service was terrible, but we did not complain to our server as she seemed busy and understaffed. We waited about 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken, and then another 15 to get our drinks and have our food order taken, and then our food took over an hour to come out, with no communication from our server as to what was going on. There were probably 8-10ish other tables in the restaurant and only 2 servers. We were a table of 6 that had 3 children under 5 with us, who miraculously were very patient during the whole experience, despite numerously complaining about how hungry they were. No extra bread brought while we wait or refills offered of fountain drinks/water that we had. We basically didn’t see our server for the hour+ we were waiting for our food. I have no idea if the kitchen lost our ticket or if she forgot to put our food in because there was no communication given. The phone was constantly ringing and they were too busy to answer since they seemed to be short staffed. Bathrooms were out of toilet paper and paper towels. Food was ok once it came out but nowhere near waiting for. Not sure why management wasn’t there filling in if they were that short staffed- they’re right next to the busiest mall in Des Moines and it was a weekend.

Me and my group had a reservation at 7. The host at the front desk sat two different groups of people before us and they didn’t even have a reservation. At this point it was about 7:20. Then it took them about 25 minutes just to get us our drinks. We had it order the same time we got our drinks because it had taken so long. The food was barely average and seemed rush. Then we waited for the check but no one ever came back to the table so we had to get up and ask for the check. And on top of all of that the host was very disrespectful and gave us looks just because we asked what was going on with our reservation. Would not recommend

We sat on the patio on a beautiful day! We had the Crispy Shrimp & Crispy Ravioli that were excellent! They have fireworks at the pond on The Fourth of July FYI. Easily visible from the patio.
