First time here. Nice little corner pub in Alma MI. Not very busy during the day. Atmosphere is a regular pub type place. The food was good, especially the sauces, very unique menu items. Service was decent. Would definitely recommend.

I had the “Great Scot” Burger. Could be up there with Worst burger I’ve ever had. The patties were rubbery and gross. They squeaked like I was biting on warm cheese curds. They were obviously very low-quality frozen patties. If they would just make their own patties this would be a great burger.
Service and atmosphere are great. I’m sure this is a great place to get a drink. Just stay away from the burgers.

Please be aware of staff screaming at children and serving alcohol and making drinks behind the bar with a baby on her hip (red hair) After what I’m expecting to be dad making the boy cry and threats made little boy (age 4-6)asked to watch cartoons at the bar. Red hair declined. The other waitress (black hair) said just watch him walk out to the car and leave him there alone.

Our American Legion Riders Howell Post 141 was doing our annual popcorn run. We had called ahead to see if they could accommodate 30 of us, which they were able to. It was a Sunday afternoon. I THINK they had 1 barmaid, 1 waitress & 1 cook. They got our drinks & orders put in within record time. Food was flying out hot, fast, accurate AND delicious! They operated like a well oiled train that had been working together for quite some time! Without a doubt the staff & food was wonderful! The establishment was so interesting, from the leg lamps by the bar, to the Rhino on the wall and even the Christmas tree hanging upside down from t ceiling at the front of the bar.
(That’s one way to keep my cat out of the Christmas tree . Needless to say it all gave us lots to chatter about. Thanks for helping make a bunch of Veterans & their spouses Sunday afternoon a super special time!

TLDR: This is exactly what you’d expect out of a pub atmosphere with pretty great craft beers on tap. I liked and will most likely return
We didn’t eat here but the beer was good! We had “The Wife is Calling”, “Straight CA$H, Homey” and “Raisin Hell”- all really good beers on tap! Met some fun people, and spent a couple hours hanging out. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a bar/pub and the staff is friendly. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable and so was the overall size of the place, as well as the bar stools.

The atmosphere at Bravehearts Pub is very nice. It is well decorated and feels cozy. There is a bar to sit at or tables and chairs to dine at. There are dart boards in the back. There is also a small nice outdoor seating area.
The service here leaves much to be desired. It isn’t horrible. It isn’t great.
The food is pretty on par with Pub food. Exactly what you would expect at a Pub. Definitely worth a visit if that is what you are craving.
The drinks here are also very good. Lot’s of nice specialty beers if that is your thing. The drinks can get very very expensive though.

Grew up in this city and I know these little places you don’t hear much about, can have some rather good tasting food. Mean Jean chicken was beyond tasty! Living in Grand Rapids now I like to go around and review places. All around good atmosphere as well. I can’t forget the lamp from one of my favorite movies

On our way back from Mt Pleasant we stopped into Bravehearts and had great time with the family.it was our first time at BH. Food and atmosphere was Good! Thanks to the only waitress / bartender in there covering everyone and she did a great job! No complaints!

Great spot my husband and I found after the Jingle Bell run. Food was great and service was even better. I had the build your own starters – the dipping sauce for the cheese curds was sweet & and unexpected. I loved it!We both loved the festive decorations also!
