Stopped by the Braum’s in Melissa, TX to grab a few favorites — 2 rainbow sherbets , 2 homemade vanillas , an A2 2% milk , and a loaf of sourdough . The store was clean, bright, and easy to navigate ✨ , which made finding everything simple.
No one greeted me when I came in , but the visit picked up from there. The registers in the grocery section weren’t working ⚠️ , so we had to move over to the ice cream counter to check out instead.
Despite the hiccup, the staff handled it with grace — they were super apologetic and genuinely friendly . Their attitude kept things from feeling frustrating and made the delay easier to overlook.
Would’ve loved a smoother entrance and working registers, but the service and product quality were still top-notch. Definitely a location I’d stop at again when passing through!

Bless their hearts, this location is very hit or miss when it comes to accuracy and critical thinking. Ordered a medium shake with cherry sundae topping mixed in. Odd order, but pretty straightforward, right? Evidently not. I received my shake full of maraschino cherries…with stems attached. But don’t worry, once at home, I was able to dump the entire shake out, remove the 20+ stems, transfer that to a blender to finally make it consumable!

We are here at 4PM, on 1/8. They are completely short staffed. The girl at the front seemed frustrated but I dont blame her. They have her at the register, the ice cream, and the grocery store. I noticed a bit of chaos in the kitchen too with running back and forth. Get these girls some help. Food was great!

They kept messing up the limeade drink and I swear to the stars above that it was the worst, once was bitter, the next time too sweet, now it has no sugar AT ALL.
And the burgers and fries are just sad, we ask for a plain burger, no ketchup and all that stuff, but what did they do? Oh they gave us ketchup! Three times fries were cold as always btw.

Just wanted to give a Shout Out to Braum’s in Melissa. I’ve watch this little town grow from nothing but two gas stations and a donut shop to an explosion of everyday conveniences within a 7 square mile radius. Unlike the other fast food restaurants available here, Braum’s has always been consistently good and much appreciated. I’ve given many of the other establishments multiple tries, and the food quality has just gotten worse. Thank you Braum’s! Keep on keepin’ on.

Xavier johnson was RUDE AS EVER!! When we pulled up to the PAY for our ice cream he said “ you s some losers”. When we went inside to tell the “manager” luke what was said, he laughed at us and didn’t even say a word! David then proceeded to joke and call us “broke ’s” and remarks to his friends . KEM was an 10/10, he was very nice and respectful and helped us out . Yall need to get that under control immediately very quickly!

Always consistent, friendly and prompt at the drive thru. Food quality is better than their competition by far and prices are lower. No gimmick menu items and all the ice-cream options are great.

I went through the drive through at Braum’s Melissa TX. The staff member Antonio took my order was kind prompt and offered an upsell. I had a horrible day and it was so nice to be met with a smile. Thank you.

I wish I could rate them per item. If I could I would give them a 5 for ice cream as it is really really good! I would give them a 3 for burgers and fries .. they are not bad, though I don’t understand why people put shredded lettuces on burgers instead of leafs. And if it was for breakfast I personally would give them a 1 or 2. I tried them today for breakfast. To be fair I don’t know their breakfast menu and rather than figure it out I asked for 3 bacon egg and cheese burrito while confirming it would only have those thee items in it. What I received did have only bacon egg and cheese but the cheese to my surprise must have been pepper jack cheese or something cause this thing was spicy (I don’t do spicy) and I could not eat it. Before I tried it though I took the attached picture and observed just how little egg there was in it… these things are really thin…
Update: every time I go there now threw the drive threw they have me pull forward rather than wait at window for my food. When when there are no cars behind me. You can see from the picture the black on the nearly new concrete where kitchen workers walk food out so often. They do this because the system keeps track of how long cars sit and wait at the window however the cost in time to walk all those orders out the door no doubt masks the staff have to rush even more than they otherwise would.
