I grew up not far from this place so I can confidently say that I’ve eaten here more times than most people have eaten a burger in their entire life. Burgers and ice cream are a killer combo, and Braum’s does both well. They also, without a shadow of a doubt, have the best milk around. It just.. tastes better than every other brand of milk, bar none.
The burgers are consistently good and nicely seasoned. The beef itself seems to be good quality. My only minor complaint is that they can be a little stingy with the sauces sometimes. Every now and then I’ll get a burger feels lacking or.. dry, I guess.
For the most part, the food comes out hot and fresh, which I really appreciate. That said, I’ve had a few instances where my fries were cold, which is always a bit disappointing. It’s not the norm, but it has happened enough to notice.
Now, I have to talk about the sherbet situation. It is endlessly frustrating that they never seem to have lime sherbet. Instead, it’s cherry, cherry limeade, orange, or some other variation. Lime sherbet is a classic, and I constantly hear other customers mentioning how they wish it was available too. It’s almost a running joke at this point — everyone wants lime, but nobody gets lime. 🙁
Overall, though, Braum’s is a solid spot. Great burgers, great ice cream, mostly hot and fresh food, and a dependable place to satisfy both dinner and dessert cravings in one stop. If they’d just bring back (and keep) lime sherbet, it’d be nearly perfect.

every time i get muffins here they mold well before the expiration date, this time 11 full days before. I dont have this problem when I buy from the fort smith locations.

This is my always go to place for the best burgers, great ice cream as well as all their other food I am just a burger girl. Their milk is the best milk on the planet yummy. They are always fast, friendly and more than happy to fix any mistakes which I haven’t had any personally. So if you breakfast, lunch, or dinner in a rush at a fair price an top notch delicious Braums is the place to go.

Outstanding Braums! We buy all of our milk there because it seems to last a lot longer than other places . I know their milk is fresh and put without a bunch of cow doctoring and shots . Love their fresh beef hamburgers and chicken sandwiches . The. Club is excellent . The Braums in Poteau has to be one of the busiest I’ve ever seen . They really ought to think about opening a second one in Poteau or building a much bigger one with a double lane drive through like the one in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Sometimes traffic is backed up all the way to Broadway with customers lined up. Love the concept of vertical integration and all the fresh pure products they provide. Great place with great food!!!

Not much on fast food but if it has to happen, Braum’s is a great option. Burgers are good, frozen yogurt option makes you want to come back for more. Facilities are always clean & employees are friendly.
