It’s hard to make this post because we absolutely love Brass Rail. The prime rib is the best around. We have been ordering delivery recently, since I just gave birth, and even delivery is great. However, today was just awful. We ordered two prime ribs and an All American burger. The prime ribs both came without the side of baked potato. It’s hard to have just a slab of meat for dinner. The All American burger was ordered medium well and came quite rare. A disappointing experience.

Before moving, this was our go to place for cool, comfy, relaxed atmosphere. Great food! Great service! Great drinks! The Brass Rail has it all. We’re ALWAYS treated like family there. It was a sheer joy to revisit and love it even more!! Thanks!!

The food here is always very very good and reasonably priced. We did wait longer than normal for our order, as we watched our server deliver food to others who had sat after us. Unfortunately we had to ask what the hold up was. (45 min was a bit too long between order and asking about the food) However, our entrees were fresh when we got them and the manager gave us a complimentary desert for the wait. Excellent rebound! We were understanding, as things happen. And it was addressed correctly. We’ll be back again. It’s a loud place when it’s packed, and the “live entertainment” was, um, ok.

I stopped here for lunch because of a recommendation from a co-worker. I ordered the 12 oz English Cut Cajun Styled Prime Rib, and since this is a bar, I had low expectations that this would be good. To my amazement, the prime rib was absolutely fantastic for the price I paid. I ordered it medium well, and the meat was still so tender and perfectly seasoned. Since I came in for lunch, some of the potato sides weren’t available yet, so I got the potato wedges, which were pretty good. My server Alexi and the other staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and they provide both indoor and outdoor dining. They have a decent sized menu, and everything, including the prime rib, is very reasonable priced. A huge plus is that they have plenty of parking in the back. Overall, I was definitely impressed and happy with my first experience here, and I will be sure to stop in again the next time I am in the area.

We took a chance and hosted a family luncheon after a nearby funeral. We didn’t know the area, called the day before and were assured we could be accommodated. 20 of us were seated comfortably. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the restaurant was comfortable and clean.
I was worried that we’d be too loud, as we shared memories of our departed family member– our reminiscing had us laughing and crying loudly– but not once were we asked to quiet down.
This was a friendly, welcoming place with excellent variety and delicious food. The bar was solid too.
