Found this cool little joint in Pass-a-Grille St Pete. It’s a fun bar to go to and a great place to watch the game. The service there was probably one of the best. Our waiter was amazing. I ordered the tuna appetizer and look how fresh the tuna was. The wings were great. It is a smaller place so get there early. We’ll be back.

We ate at the brass monkey last night. We had ahi tuna plate for an app and it was more than delicious. We had the seafood sampler for our main course and enjoyed every bite. Mmmm mmmm good. The atmosphere is definitely beach sports bar that’s comfortable and quirky. My burger was good, my wife’s pizza so extremely salty. The view from the upstairs outdoor seating is very nice and our server was very attentive.

BE AWARE THAT THIS RESTAURANT CHARGES 3% EXTRA IF YOU USE A CREDIT CARD. The policy isn’t printed on the menu. Instead there’s a small sign at the very bottom of the hostess stand. At a minimum, the servers should inform the customer about this extra charge before they pay with a credit card.
Other than that, the food was delicious! The collosal steamed shrimp was fresh and flavorful. Get there before sunset. The location and views from the restaurant ware worth the high menu prices. (Four large cocktail shrimp costs $21.) The server was friendly, attentive, and professional.
I would definitely return for a sunset dinner and I’d drag a load of cash with me. I’d pay with all one dollar bills and quarters. If they want to deal with a register full of cash and making change for people, then so be it.

The Brass Monkey is such a gem! We had an amazing dinner with a beautiful view. The lobster tail and crab cakes were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The sides—crisp green beans, seasoned potatoes, and golden fries—were delicious too. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the laid-back beachy vibe made the whole evening so enjoyable. We loved every moment and will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Pass-a-Grille Beach!

Excellent restaurant! Coco was our server and she was absolutely fantastic! We all enjoyed everything we ordered, I had the crab dip pretzel and it was out of this world incredible. My sister had the jerk chicken wrap and highly recommends it. The drinks we had were also perfect. My sister is a type 1 diabetic and the bartender took extra care to make her drink as low sugar as possible. All in all this experience turned my day from a bad one into a fantastic one. 10/10

Me and my partner went there last Thursday night for our anniversary. The food was ok and the service was ok until we asked for the bill , our server showed me on her tablet that the bill was 95$something and i click 20% and sign and when I was about to tap continue she pulled the tablet back right away and ask me for the receipt, i know they were busy and i pay credit card anyway so i said “its fine ,we don’t need it “ and we left. A couple days later it showed up on my bank that i got charged for 133$ something and i realized that my bills was 95$ + 20% its should not be over 120$ so i called them back ‘they ask for my information and said that they will call me back but never called , today is the 4th day that i called and I finally got the manager. He was trying to help me but i didnt like one thing that he said “ you know that she was suspicious why didnt you ask for the receipt “ and i was like “ if I don’t ask for receipt that means that you can steal money on my back account? “ we were so upset but all i do just said my bad because i want to end the situation quickly. When i received the photo copy of the receipt i saw that it was customized to 35$. He told us to call back and about 15 minutes later he call me back and said multiple apologies and refunded the tips back to my account. We are server as well we know how hard being server can be but with that type of service 20% for the tip i think was pretty generous… she wasn’t rude but the service was 20% service. With a manager that blames the victim and is hard to get in contact with…. Im pretty sure we wont be coming back again.
