We enjoy the food and service is always great. We used to go at least once or twice a week. . But what I don’t care for is adding an 18 percent tip and and an up charge if you pay by credit card, touted as a savings if you pay by cash. Seems to be the new popular trend in Newark restaurants.

The food was really good. The waitress was a bit odd though: They have a rule against sharing when you buy the all you can eat rodizio, so she stared at everyone at our table almost nonstop making sure none of us shared any food amongst each other. I get why she did that but it was a bit over-the-top and made us all feel uncomfortable.

The food was horrendous. They were pawning off old reheated meat for several rounds and after my second complaint they bought out good meat only twice at the very end. I absolutely love zucchini and the zucchini on the kebab was nearly rotten.

This place is amazing. Not my first time there and definitely not my last. The food is amazing. The service is professional, and friendly. The rodizio is the way to go, but you must be ready for it. The amount of food you will get is a lot. Definitely give this place a 5 star all across.

I’ve been coming here with my mom for over twenty years. Although the owner doesn’t come around anymore, the place still has his spirit. Well maintained, it has a separate bar area, and a formal dining room equipped with a fresh salad bar. The Rodizio is amazing if you’re a meat eater. Also a private hall on the lower level for parties. It’s one of the best places to be for New Year’s!

Not what I have experienced a few years ago… I have always come to this place, and the food WAS consistently good….. But my oh my, how the times have changed! Very inconsistent food coming from the kitchen. The salad bar for starters, was just quickly put together… Canned Beets mixed with sour cream? How does that qualify as a Salad Bar item? Majority of the meats that came out were HEAVILY salted, and inconsistent temperatures. Over cooked, and too rare… there is no quality in service, or in food. Pinnaple, which is what I was looking forward too, was over ripe, and masked with white sugar to cover the taste up. Not to mention, not well seasoned with cinnamon… Oh and to top it off, there is an automatic gratuity for 3 people of $19, and if you pay woth card, it’s an extra $5….. while we were still sitting at our table, the waiter open our Check book to see if we left additional tip… in front of us. Super unprofessional.
