We have been to other Brasa locations before and I keep forgetting about this one. We stopped in to grab some lunch and had a seriously tasty meal. I got the Slow Roasted Pork plate with red beans & yellow rice as sides and I’m not much of a corn bread fan. I loved every single thing on my plate. My husband got the Rotisserie Chicken plate with Mac & Cheese and coleslaw. We also shared a small side of collard greens. Everything was super well seasoned. The Mac & Cheese could have been warmer at delivery. The service was super friendly, Jordan took great care of us. Cannot wait to come back and try more things now that I remembered this gem is in the western suburbs. Nice work Brasa!

It has been several years since I have visited a Brasa. I’m glad that I came back today. I happened to stumble across the newest location in Hopkins and decided to have lunch.
We had Jordan as a server and I must say we were very lucky to have him as a server. He walked us through the menu with grace and suggested some very incredible options.
I went with the pork bowl I will add a picture of it was amazing. The true test of a great restaurant is you want to try several things on the menu which is what I will do by coming back more often.
The space inside is pretty small and they have a nice little outdoor patio. Such a cool over all neighborhood spot.
I definitely recommend this process to anyone and hopefully you get Jordan as a server. If you are like me, you probably think that there is no table service in these restaurants, but this particular location provides great service and it Isn’t just counter service

Honestly, I didn’t LOVE this place. Although our waiter was super attentive and did great work, the portion sizes, I felt, were disproportionate in the amount of beans and rice to the actual amount of protein / chicken that was offered.
The venue was also quite small and it felt more like an overpriced diner than anything else. Would I go here again? Yes, for a central location or business meeting. But what I choose to go here again for a quick bite or a meet up with friends? Probably not.

I’ve had the food before at other locations and spread the word about the restaurant because I enjoyed it. I took a friend to the Brasa-Hopkins location last night and it was my first and last time there. The food was good (like the other locations) but the service was terrible. The waiter came to our table constantly like he was in a rush to get us out of the restaurant. He brought the check and to go boxes while we were still eating and told us they close at 8 – we had at least a half hour to finish but it was clear he wanted us to leave asap. This experience ruined Brasa for my friend and she doesn’t want to go back. Bad service.

I scheduled an order and it was ready on time. Chicken was a little drier than I expected, but still good. Excellent coleslaw, wasn’t a fan of the candied yams, though that is probably a personal taste thing.

We love Brasa and we’re excited to try out the Hopkins location for the first time, only to find that few people actually dined in here. The staff even nudged us into getting our food in to go containers making us feel like we couldn’t stay and eat. The food was delicious but the service and atmosphere did not match what I am used to from the other locations.

I am a huge fan of Brasa. I generally get one of two of their bowls, either their Arroz con Pollo or their Vegetable with Chickpea and add rotisserie chicken. I’ve never gone home hungry, generally have leftovers (which reheat great btw) and try to save room for corn bread and/or coconut vanilla pudding.

Dined at Brasa on a Friday. Staff told me they were out of multiple different menu items at 6:30 and unapologetically blamed new management. Prices have gone up again. The service was below average, forgot to bring out our drink order but didn’t seem to care. I’ve always enjoyed eating at Brasa but when the service at Olive Garden blows you out of the water it might be time to consider some changes.
