Small fremch bistro serving breakfast and lunch. Mom n pop feel. Menu was interesting and definotely french. Nice pastries if ypu dont get there too late for lunch. very nice french cafe ambiance. Prices reasonable. Check Hours as they are closed on weekends. Nice people.

Branko’s Patisserie is simply spectacular. We arrived without a reservation, and even so, we were welcomed with incredible kindness. From the very first moment, they make you feel like part of the family, as if you truly belong there.
We are from Florida and were visiting the area to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The atmosphere is small but very cozy, full of charm and warmth.
And the food… WOW! Everything is absolutely delicious, prepared with love and flavors you can taste in every bite. This is definitely one of those places that leaves you wanting to come back.
I highly recommend Branko’s Patisserie. If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit spot. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

The hours are limited, but when it’s open, everything is made with the same care the chef brought from Heidelberg to Honesdale. Salads and sandwiches are simple, immaculate, and genuinely fresh — the kind of lunch that tastes hand-assembled, not mass-produced.
It’s one of those rare places where everything feels thoughtful, the greens are crisp, and you can tell someone truly cares. Charming, quiet, and absolutely worth planning your day around.

Beautiful place, friendly people, delicious food – all at a very reasonable price. Orders, though, are taken at the counter. And no tap water (although a local sai that was a good thing since the water is allegedly 4th worst in the nation).

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The atmosphere was very relaxing, the food was delicious and neatly plated. You can tell the chef took pride in making this food. I enjoyed a great cappuccino and saw they offered affogato (my favorite & also impossible to find in NEPA). I can’t wait to go back! Definitely a gem of a place. You wouldn’t even know you were in PA when you enter. The restaurant had a cozy European feel to it. Exactly what I’ve been looking for since I moved here.

Reading through the reviews, I find myself agreeing with the negative ones, rather than the positive. The owner clearly has a preference for a certain type of customer and we were definitely not that type. I have the same “problem,” in that I can say the right things, but by the way I say them, you can tell that I don’t really mean it. I originally thought she might just be having a bad day but in reading through the reviews, I see that others have felt the same way, especially one who said that he was a local, but was treated as an outsider and felt unwelcome. No complaints about the food, it was delicious, but overpriced, in my opinion. I left a tip; I shouldn’t have. I won’t be back.

such an amazing spot! great cappuccino perfect temp with nice espresso! we got eggs benedict and the nova bagel and had to try the tiramisu! the food was so fresh, flavorful and perfect! that was the best tiramisu i’ve ever had!
