This place has been slowly going downhill since it opened. Used to be really good but food quality is just not where it used to be. Last order is probably the last straw for me as the gyros had literally pool of grease in the container (picture), I understand some grease on them but they were literally swimming in them, I been eating gyros for 20 years and never had this from any place.

One of my new favorite places! They are always nice here and the food’s always great! Everything seems to be made to order and the fries are always nice and hot.
They have a bazillion things on the menu but I always end up getting the same thing (gyros lunch) and it’s great every time. My husband has tried several different items and he’s always been happy with what he’s gotten. My sister ordered her sandwich with onion rings and they were outstanding!
I would highly recommend!

During a recent visit to Brandy’s Gyros, we ordered two gyro plates and a souvlaki for takeout. The restaurant’s interior was notably clean and inviting.
The gyro plates featured generous portions of meat; however, the single pita provided wasn’t sufficient for the amount of filling, so requesting an extra pita is advisable. The tzatziki sauce was flavorful but had a strong garlic presence that might be overpowering for some. The accompanying Greek potatoes were decent but could benefit from enhanced seasoning and moisture.
The souvlaki was a highlight, delivering a well-seasoned and satisfying taste.
In summary, Brandy’s Gyros offers hearty portions in a clean environment. With slight adjustments to certain dishes, it has the potential to elevate its offerings further.
A very good salad also.

We visited Brandys in Schaumburg and had a great experience. We ordered the barbecue ribs, and they were absolutely delicious: juicy, flavorful, and served in generous portions, perfect for sharing or leaving completely satisfied. The service was also excellent; the cashier was very kind and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Definitely a place we would return to for great food and a warm atmosphere.

This place used to be amazing but the quality has gone down tremendously in the past year. We understand that prices have gone up however the food quantity shouldn’t decrease. This happened to us before but chose to brush it off as this was one of our favorites. This is a picture of a gyro platter with scraps of meat three slices of tomato and a teaspoonful of onions. Also dinners usually come with two pitas at every other gyro place, they wanted to charge $2.00 for an extra pita so we picked up a pack of four at Jewel and cut up our own tomato and onion. As consumers we have to stop accepting less for more. If we are coving the up charges that is more than acceptable when choosing to dine out but we should absolutely get what we pay for. Staff is very friendly, it is not their fault what corporate deems and the soup is always delicious.

They were really good. It was a lunchable size meal to eat and it was really well done. And they had a lot more than just gyros.
The service was great. Everybody was smiles and friendly.

Been coming here all year a few times per week for lunch. Perfect spot with plenty of options but my go to is the Italian beef with sweet peppers and the Greek potatoes. Love the seasoning on the peppers and the potatoes. Sometimes I get the beef without the bun for a very healthy and fast lunch. Consider marketing that for the fitness community 😉 Great family business. They keep everything efficient and consistent in quality. Place is very clean and comfortable too. Definitely come here if you’re in the area.

Fantastic gyros at a great price! Every time we’ve come to this Brandy’s the food has been delicious and the restaurant has been very clean. There’s tons of seating and clean restrooms too. For around $15 you can get a gyro meal which comes with fries and drink. And the food comes out super quick too!

I recommend their homemade Italian beef and French fries. They are so delicious. Better than portillos. Very friendly service.
Before coming, I thought they just had gyros because of their name, but they have a ton of items on their menu. Something for everyone.

Been wantin’ to try a Brandy’s location for a few months now and this past November, finally made it.
This limited Chicago area chain boasts a decent all-around Chicago/Greek fare menu with delicious food, a clean dining room and friendly service.
I looove gyros, in fact I’m a bit of a gyros junkie and always look forward trying new venues to compare the quality and taste of various eateries. The gyros are fantastic here!
So I did order a regular gyros for myself and for my wife but when I saw the size, I almost asked my wife “you planning on eating that?”. I wanted to scarf down hers as well.
I’m guessing 4 years earlier there was 20-25% more meat for less of a price. But the COVID along with inflation and the minimum wage hike are all drivers of the prices.
Not reason enough for me to rate them less than 5 stars, though. I don’t exactly live close by, I live up in Beach Park in NE Lake County but if ever in Schaumburg again and have that craving, could easily stop back in.
