Our daughter and son in law took us to Brandon Iron Restaurant in West point to celebrate two of our grandchildren’s birthdays. We were seated quickly. The young lady that took care of us did an excellent job. The menu has a huge selection. Our group of nine pretty well had a little bit of all. Everybody thought the food was very good. The prices on the entire menu are very reasonable. Definitely worth the short drive from Cullman

Five guests in our group and we were pleasantly pleased with our dinners. Two included the salad bar with their steak dinner, one enjoyed cheesecake after the meal. Food was good, service good, and the waitress was quite attentive.

First time visiting the Branding Iron. We had a party of 8 and were quickly seated. Our server Jenica(sp?) and the rest of the staff were super friendly and worked in tandem to make sure our table was serviced properly. As more weekend lunch crowd came in, they were in the weeds a bit, but still upbeat and helpful.
I would say the stand out was the salad bar. It was fresh with good selection.
The rest of the food was good and well seasoned, but not very consistent on the cook/temperature of the steaks.
Overall it’s good food at a very fair price. I would like to eat here again and try the pork chops or the Philly. I spotted them on another table on the way out and it looked really good.

We had our QA Christmas party, a group of 20. First of all, our servers were wonderful, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was ok. Now for the food…the appetizers were really good, the best part of our meal. The salad bar was small, the cucumbers looked like they had been there for days, the lettuce had a lot of browning pieces mixed in, overall it just didn’t seem fresh. Now to the food, I had grilled chicken and a baked potato, the potato was cooked well and tasted fine, the grilled chicken was rubbery and tasted off, only took 1 bite. The lady sitting across from me had a hamburger steak that was not done, the outside was brown, the inside red. She sent it back, the second attempt was not much better, it was brown on the outside and still pink in the middle. Several others complained about the quality of their food. Personally, I will not be returning.

I set my fries aside. And the server thought I didn’t like them and asked if i didnt like them. I said they were a little too crispy for me but were fine. So she brought me more that werent.. stuff like that goes far with me. The ranch dressing portion was perfect.
Prices are very reasonable!!!
Honestly. I have nothing bad to say about this place. We will be back and I encourage you to give them a try!!!

Its ways out but worth it. We came before the rush hour, I’d say. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We were greeted by friendly staff. We enjoyed a very fresh salad bar and hot juicy steaks. The place was clean and our experience was good. We all left feeling full but not gross full. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The prices are definitely reasonable. Thank you.

My family and I ate here today after a cheer completion in Cullman. We waited 30 minutes for 2 appetizers and 65 minutes for our entrees. After 30 minutes into waiting for our entrees, we were told they were out of baked potatoes. I’m not sure why it took 30 minutes to tell us that but.. okay. When the waitress told us about the potatoes not being available, she gave us attitude when we were changing our sides, as if we shouldn’t be upset. All of our steaks were ordered medium well with a baked potato as a side. All of our steaks were well done and had to be sent back. And we waited another 20 minutes for the correct ones to come out. I recommended this place to my family who doesn’t come to Cullman often. It was pretty embarrassing that I recommended this place and my family had such a bad experience. My husband and I usually have date nights here, but our money will be spent elsewhere from now on.

My husband and myself ordered the Delmonico steak. I never complain about a meal I know it’s never going to be perfect, but I just have to this time. The service was good, the sides were good the wait was good. The salad bar was good, but the steak, if that’s what you want to call it was absolutely horrible. I ask for medium, mine was so raw you couldn’t stand to look at it. Grisle and fat took up 95% of the steak. Seriously. The grossest piece of meat I’ve ever had anywhere. It didn’t even look like a steak. Wasn’t even a single bite that was salvageable. My husband’s was tough and looked somewhat like a steak but had no flavor . We never send food back or complain but we will never be back for a steak again.
