I love sushi and this place did not disappoint. They have amazing foor and the sake selection is great. I’ve always been a huge fan of Dewazakura Sake and they have it here. You really can’t go wrong with that. As for the food, I don’t have any words other than wow. I was so impressed that my friends and I made reservations to come back while we were there.

Sashimi 3 platter (great) soft shell crab (great) tofu (great) stingray filet (excellent) monkfish liver (great) uni with beef (excellent) fried oysters (excellent) make reservations here ahead of time. Great service. They refilled my water 5 times here. From chefs to waitstaffs, this place is extremely efficient. No Apple Pay.

I come here for the food. It’s amazing. The place is always jam packed. I wish they expanded or moved to a bigger place. Highly recommend you get reservations in advance especially for big parties otherwise you’ll be waiting for the first available table. Staff is friendly and attentive. Second time I’ve eaten here and their sake is bomb. Come and check them out! Beware, parking in McCully can be sometimes challenging.

We are on a vacation for our hawaii trip and found out about this restaurant. This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Hawaii that I have been to. We order otoro for $36.50 for 6 pieces at market price. And it tastes so good. It just melts in your mouth. We just has to add additional order at the end, as it is that good. And the price is inexpensive for 6 pieces. This is one of the must try Japanese restaurant in Hawaii if you are happen to be here.

I discovered this Japanese izakaya in the heart of Honolulu on the 2nd floor of the McCully Shopping Center! Their food is authentic Japanese dishes that brings back memories of Japan! Everything I’ve tried has been amazing! I’m kind of hesitant to share here because I like that it’s not so busy and we can usually get a seat/table, lol!
