Meal type: …
The burger: After trying 2 more times the quality has improved a fair amount. By no means is it the pinical of smash burger but we are definitely in the territory now. It’s firmly into a 4 out of 5 for price and quality.
The crispy chiken sandwich: Oh man they are very close to something pretty amazing. The chicken is battered and i think that’s the only thing holding it back. It was hardy and so juicy but that batter held just a bit to much grease and fell apart. Short of that the slabs of tomato mine came with were a little unripe but these are both super easy fixes. (4.5/5)
The fries: Unfortunately these are still a bland letdown I would pass. (2/5)
The icecream: I have only ordered malts but I have had 4 now and it’s been completely different every time. They just need to implement some work instructions. (3.5/5)
Notes: The chips are alright but honestly they detract from the burgers and the chicken which are both getting pretty good.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: (3/5)
Food Review: The food is just alright and is 3/5 stars. I got a burger and fries. The burger wasn’t dry but it lacked a lot of “smash burger” qualities. There was no sign of a crust like you would expect and the patty was seasoned with some sort of seasoning that just didn’t belong. The bun was a bit yeasty and just a lot for the single patty of meat to contest with. The fries were crinkle cut fries that were a bit greasy and honestly about on point with store bought frozen fries you might make at home in the oven.
Business tips: For what its worth here is my advise should the owner or manager check the reviews. The POS appears to be to complicated. When I see an employee tap the screen 20 times to ring up a cheeseburger with fries and a shake that’s to much. I understand trying to keep prices low but you have stripped so much back that most customers will now be adding back on both complicating ordering and worsening the customer experience. Last, please buy bigger straws for shakes nobody enjoys struggling to suck their shake through a tiny straw.
