My son and I came to Texas City for an overnight stay since we are leaving on a cruise out of Galveston in the morning. I was looking on Google for places to eat and came across Boyd’s Cajun Grill. Both of us love crawfish, so we decided to go there. Unfortunately, they didn’t receive any crawfish today, so we weren’t able to have any. No big deal. But let me tell you what we did get. He got a Cajun Burrito and hush puppies. This burrito was HUGE! It had a pound of shrimp, black beans, fries, cheese, pico and sauce all wrapped up in a large tortilla. He said the burrito and hush puppies were phenomenal. I had the Cajun Basket. It came with shrimp boudain balls, crab boudain balls, fried shrimp and french fries. It was phenomenal as well. They have a list of dipping sauces available too. We chose the jalapeno ranch and chipotle mayo. Both very flavorful. I absolutely recommend if you are visiting Texas City that you check this place out. Just a helpful hint… This is not a dine in restaurant. You simply walk up to the window and place your order. They had our order out within 10 minutes. Today’s date is 1/23/2026

Best cooked crawlfish I’ve had. I’ve been going here for about 6 years now. they are always FRESH & WELL SEASONED AND THEY ARE NOT SMALL . Unless you going during the beginning of the season. THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE STAFF !!!! I dont have a question. I am a veteran. I have a few soldiers that I trained and they are stationed in Germany right now . They all want me to send them cooked crawlfish. CAN YOU HELP ME OUT?

After waiting for over an hour for my food. Shrimp was pale with no flavor, just boiled in water. Same with the crawfish, lots of people waiting on their order. I thought the food was going to be good. Potatoes no seasoning and corn not cooked. I went next door to buy 20oz sodas and soda was flat. I left the crawfish, shrimp & everything on the tables outside after paying for two king combos , and extra corn & potatoes. Its sad yall serve this stuff and play with people’s hard earned money. Boyds has lost their touch. Definitely not what they used to be!!

If your debating where to go try Boyds! Food is phenomenal we tried boudin, crab cakes, po boys, crawfish, shrimp and more. Literally everything was 10/10. The young girl that takes your order was super helpful too. All around great experience

We ordered 2 times before and had it delivered it was pretty good just didn’t get the whole dinner we decided to pick it up so we could get the crab cakes better off not getting them the fish wasn’t cooked all the way and the supposally corn fritters were burnt hush puppies didn’t even eat mine I threw it away.

I was looking forward to trying this place and was not disappointed. The fish was fresh and hot, although it wasn’t too seasoned for me. But the tartar sauce helped add flavor. The fries were seasoned ,hot and very crispy but not overcooked which I appreciate.

I’m giving Boyd’s a great review, but one of their employee’s Bear…stole $100 from me right in front of the grill, in front of the cameras. They need to do something about this, it’s no different than having an employee order Door dash at your business and then cancel the order…please look into this HR

My husband and I visit Boyd’s at least one a week for the catfish nugget basket. The service is great, always greeted with a smile, and fish is hot and seasoned. The price is affordable and plentiful.
