This is classic front of the house inexperience killing any chance for fine cuisine ever being truly special. The crab rice cake appetizer was delicious along with mushroom pasta. The char grilled sea bass was excellent along with the Beef Wellington for two. That’s about where it ended.
Our server, Liz was not only unfamiliar with the menu but even when asked unable to articulate her thoughts or customer favorites about what to order. She actually said to one of our guests, “I’ll serve you want ever you want,” after being asked what were some of her favorites were on the menu.
Others must agree because the place had three two-tops not including our party the entire night on a Saturday. The wine list is average at best notwithstanding charging upwards of $30 per glass.
To add insult to injury the F&B person needs some recommendations on proper stemware and not those served at a wedding for 200 people. The bartender poured a quality Oregon Cab ice cold and when questioned the servers response was did we want something else.
If you are going to spend $400+ for three people you expect more—even in LA.

Staff were amazing. The hostess was accommodating and so sweet. And the waiter who ended up serving us when we were not in his section, also an angel. Food? Phenomenal. As for management? Absolutely horrible. I understand it’s Christmas and it’s busy. But to overbook by more than 3-5 tables per time slot is UNACCEPTABLE. I had a 7:30 pm reservation and then due to poor management, had to wait a little over an hour to be seated. Once at the table, again due to poor management, I find no fault in the staff that night, we waited over 30 minutes with no service. Due to overbooking, being seated in what was now a closed section, the communication wasn’t there. However, the staff were still polite, professional, and kind given the fact that they were understaffed and overbooked. If it weren’t for my partner getting up and talking to a server, we would’ve continued on waiting for who knows how long.
Once served, the food was amazing. The surf and turf combo was something else. The spin on the traditional turkey Xmas dinner? Crazy good. And the dessert? I’m already craving a round two.
Overall, a good experience. Hopefully management fixes whatever issues they had with the booking system.

Stellar bottomless brunch on the weekends, it lasts till 5 pm Saturdays & Sundays! And it is bottomless in every way…food and drink. A luxury, since I hark from Boston where this is a rare sight 🙂 Lovely presentation for each dish and the dining area is tucked away in the hotel, so it’s one of the most peaceful & quiet brunching experiences I’ve had!

This is truly a hidden gem!!! I went for brunch and everything from food presentation to taste was amazing! The bottomless brunch was 100% worth it and great value for the price! The staff was so attentive and friendly especially Matthew. I will definitely come back when I visit LA again!

The Most beautiful Brunch rooftop. Came with my mom on mother’s day and we enjoyed it so much. There were plenty of options to choose from. I’m vegan and they gave me a burger and a cauliflower steak. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. We will definitely be back. The rooftop views are beautiful and there are plenty of umbrellas☂️ Take an Uber you will drink a lot of mimosas/ Bellinis

Boxwood is located at the lobby level of the hotel. We ate here 3/2/22 after attending a screening of “Spencer” in the hotel’s screening room followed by Q&A with the LA Times and Kristen Stewart about her reaction to being nominated for best actress in upcoming Academy Awards. Staff were courteous. John was our waiter and kept our Prosecco glasses full. I had the scallops and my wife had the steak. Meal prices are about what you would expect in this economy in an upscale hotel and I didn’t find it to be outrageous but reasonable. Valet parking only and valets were courteous and well staffed for the event. Very pleased with the restaurant and would have dinner here again.

Highly recommended! Took my son here for his birthday as he had been banging on about eating Gordan Ramsey’s food after watching too much Hells Kitchen. The dishes are pricey but that’s to be expected for a $$$ restaurant. The potion is good as you can see from the photos and you will be full. The menu does change but you won’t be disappointed.
The atmosphere was ambient and chill. Our server was French which added some authentication to it serving British/European dishes. The restaurant is inside of the hotel so be careful with your Uber if they don’t go into the hotel driveway. Best to stand on the main road to avoid your Uber trying to leave so quickly and charge you.

One of the best hidden restaurants in LA because it’s in the London hotel but it’s truly exceptional. Highly recommend going here even if you’re not staying at the hotel. I’ve prob ate here 50 times and have never had a bad meal.

I think I just had one of the best experiences of my entire life. Jeffrey and Brian just made my 3rs anniversary with my husband the MOST memorable night! The view was breathtaking, from the sunset to the Hollywood lights. We e joyed amazing craft cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and dessert with beautiful views and exceptional service. Brian even gave us suggestions on where to continue our night! I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude, I came so far to eat here and was not disappointed in the least. ❤️
