Needed a quick bite to eat and I had a few minutes before my train arrived. Typically, I don’t not like fast food places, but this place seemed many steps above anything you can get at any McDonald’s, Wendy’s, or Burger King…so I gave them a shot, and glad I did. Menu is fairly simple, burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches…but the simplicity is what makes it great. Yea, its only burgers, chicken sandwiches or hot dogs…but they have great toppings to personalize your order, they have multiple fries or tot options, and multiple side choices. And most importantly here…the food is great! I enjoyed my food very much, staff is great, the place itself was very clean, very fair prices, great ambiance..I recommend Boxcar Burgers 1000!

Wow! I’ve seen this spot twice on my commute and I am really happy i tried their food. I had sweet potato fries with a cheeseburger and wow it was good. The service here, provided by this sweet young lady who helped at the register made me feel so welcomed, but the entire staff overall was nice. Definitely will be back for more. I had their shake and you can customize it. Honestly this place just has the sweetest people. Please make sure you are kind to them and tip.

I stumbled upon this absolute gem—a tiny, hole-in-the-wall spot tucked right beside the train station. Honestly, it looks like nothing special from the outside, but wow, you walk in and you know they are serious about their food.
I ordered their classic cheeseburger, and it was pure perfection. The beef was clearly high quality—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly to my liking. The bun was soft yet held up beautifully, and the toppings were fresh and balanced. This wasn’t some generic fast-food patty; this was a gourmet burger experience hiding in plain sight.
What really blew me away, though, was the price. Considering the quality of the ingredients, I expected to pay significantly more. It was an amazing value for a top-tier meal.
If you are ever passing through or waiting for a train, do yourself a favor and stop here. You’d miss it if you weren’t looking. This is now my go-to spot. Will definitely be returning—probably next time I’m in the area. Five stars, no question.

Came in for the bathroom, left with one of the tastiest milkshakes I have had in a while. The people were friendly. The food was good and well priced. The vibe was chill. If you are coming or going from the Ronkonkoma line, stop in.

Great Burger place! Had the runaway burger double patty with some tots – both were tasty! Tots were hot n crunchy and the burger flavorful and a mouthful. Signature track sauce is dope too!

Burgers, Fries & Shakes… good food, good price. Burgers come with pickles, onions and ketchup, but many toppings to chose from. A large fries is big enough for two (get the cheese sauce on the side). The shake is 20ºz of yummy goodness. Prices are a la carte, but very reasonable. Only a handful of tables so better as take out. Recommend you check them out.
