I wanted noodles of some kind when like traveling in Hartsville for work. I chose this restaurant because it got good reviews and I’m glad I did. The server recommended the Pad Thai after I said I wanted noodles, she said it was what they were known for. I said I wanted it spicy and so she asked me how I wanted it, 1 to 5. Five being hot Thai spicy! So I got a three and it was perfect for my taste. I drank a Sapporo beer while waiting for it to be prepared and took it back to my hotel across the street. Highly recommend this Thai restaurant.

Was in town for the night, Chicken Tom Kha Gai Hot Pot and Pho Bó was on point. Also had the Royal Shrimp which I got twice. Worth a stop for sure, also had the Thai Tea no ice, fresh rolls and the Pad Gra Pow with the ground chicken, paired with a nice Chang beer was great. Visited twice , came back for lunch, excellent service.

My Mom and I went to Bow Thai at lunchtime today(Saturday), and it was just as good as I remembered from about 4-5 years ago!

We started out with the Spring Rolls, I also had the Tom Kha Soup , and we both had the Shrimp Pad Thai – Incredible!

Can I just tell you about the Tom Kha Soup?! Coconut Milk with Chicken, Mushrooms, Lemongrass, and Green Onions? It’s a must try!

Service was excellent! Our waitress was a mild-mannered soft-spoken gal, informative, friendly, and attentive.

It was definitely worth the nearly hour drive!

*NOTE* When ordering on Saturday, lunch prices do NOT apply!

We’ve been to bowtie a few times and it’s always been a terrific experience. We love the architecture of the building, the way the inside of the restaurant is decorated with the restored natural brick walls.

Everything that we’ve gotten there is been good. Typically I’ll start off with a Thai tea which is sweet like sweet tea, but has cream in it. It’s absolutely delicious. Typically will also have an appetizer usually calamari. They are just a tiny bit on the tough side, but in a pleasant way. Fried slightly firm. Come with a sweet-and-sour sauce that’s very good.

Our usual meal is one of us gets pad Thai and the other gets volcano chicken and then we share. The two dishes are very different and it makes for a nice contrast. Tonight my wife had the curry with chicken in it and it was delicious. We’re both suckers for coconut milk , so it was really up our alley.

Downtown Hartsville is very nice. If you’re looking for a spot to go for dinner and then a walk and maybe a sweet treat down the street, it’s a good spot.

First time visiting and based on reviews I was very interested. Restaurant opened at 11am and the inside was was nice with plenty of pictures on the wall. However, the lighting looks like its not the best from the outside but when you step inside it’s a different environment. I ordered the shrimp spring which was amazing. The dumplings were also good but may taste better steamed. This restaurant is very busy around lunch and parking is hard to find. I will recommend.

We love Thai food and went well off of our travel route to visit this restaurant..We found a nice menu and some really good Thai food. The pineapple rice was very good as were the egg rolls. Price was reasonable and the staff was very helpful..Well worth visiting the place that is a little off the beaten trail.

Delicious food and so attentive to food allergies! Chicken satay and red curry shrimp were tasty. Can’t wait to go again.

Nice ordering, hefty portions and good quality food. Think there was some nice fennel in my drunken noodles. Well done food, relatively cheap. Test it out.

Very good Thai place, I get this every time I go to Hartsville. The food was hot, even though we were late to pick it up.
