Listen and listen good. Order the spicy bourbon chicken, or braised chicken, along with plantains, and rice. You can’t go wrong! My sister and I visited in May, and I went back yesterday! I remembered to do a review, because I am still eating off of my plate. The food is delicious and seasoned to the T. I encountered great customer service from both ladies who were working. The best part, is that I ate from my plate at least 3 times! They definitely have a repeat customer.

Service:
They were nice and very helpful. The time was a bit slow but I only saw two people working. I asked one of them which chicken they prefer (bourbon or honey). She frowned and said, “definitely bourbon.”

Food:
The food was mediocre. A mall Chinese-style restaurant. They are all the same. I had bourbon chicken and vegetables. It cost $6.41 w/tax. Not bad but just meh…

Conclusion:
This restaurant had a score of 98 which is the highest of all the other restaurants in the food court. So yes, I’d recommend this place if you do not want to leave the mall.

Chicken very dry and stale tasting. Seems like it’s been sitting for a while.

If I could give zero stars I would. Sent my daughter in the mall at Stonecrest, to get a plate from Bourbon Street Cafe worst food I ever had, didn’t eat nothing but a couple of bites food was horrendous now have a headache, not sure from the food or just frustrated. Food was old brown looking cold, the orange chicken was old the sauce and the breading just wasn’t right. I wasn’t close to turn back around, tried calling phone is off. I will not recommend to my worst enemy. Plz don’t waste your time or money we spent $20+ for trash .

Pretty good for mall food! I’ll definitely go back! Just know that it’s not gourmet or a 5star meal! Just good mall food with decent portions! May go today for the lo main!

Its called Bourbon Street Cajun Cafe, but its just your typical Americanized Chinese food spot located in a mall food court. I’ve had lots of food from these places and even from this particular one in other locations. Most of the time they are pretty good, especially if you’re hungry and have not eaten all day! This one, the one located in the Stonecrest mall near the ATL, is, without a doubt, the ABSOLUTE WORST food that I have ever had the EXTREME DISPLEASURE of tasting from one of these places. The food you see in the picture (all of it) was thrown out after I took the photo!

This was supposed to be Sesame Chicken, Cajun rice and broccoli vegetables. Blaaaah! It was cold, bland and to be extremely honest, I wasn’t even sure if that was actually chicken! It tasted very close to that chkn’ that you get when you’re vegan and don’t want to eat real chicken. I was so disappointed and disgusted that I just immediately threw this so called food out after I tasted it. I never do that because I don’t like throwing food away that I have paid for, and I’ve suffered through some horrible food because of that quirk of mine. This, however, was the exception. The straw that broke the camels back. I give you all fair warning. STAY AS FAR AWSY FROM. THIS NASTINESS AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!!!!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Just left Bourbon Street Cajun Cafe @Stonecrest 5/24/25. Food is horrible! The bourbon chicken has a pale-like color, watery sauce, and bland taste. The noodles are super soggy – almost like mush! I tossed the whole meal, and the cook should be next!
My son ordered orange chicken and fried rice with mixed vegetables from Max Oriental right next to Bourbon Street and it was delicious! Everything was fresh and tasted great, and Max Oriental should have been my first choice. Bourbon Street needs to be closed – that food is a mess!
