Caught a bite here before a redeye going back east. I knew I had plenty of time, but wanted somewhere close to the gate that I could sit down, open my computer, and get some work done with a drink, and some food. As a vegetarian, the options here were extremely limited. The initial service was great, however, in order to get anybody to come back to my table, I had to make eye contact and give them a hand signal, which was slightly annoying, as I was trying to focus on work. I got a macaroni and cheese dish, with crumbles on top, which wasn’t bad at all, especially for airport food. I would have it again. But it was one of the only vegetarian options available, and I really wasn’t looking to carb load.
Atmosphere was very comfortable, just like in any airport. Folks coming and going, everybody minding their own business, yet we were all existing. I fly out of this terminal often, and as this is the most convenient place to eat, I wish they had other options so I could try something else.
I definitely recommend this place, the location and flavorful food, will bring me back for the next redeye.

Bourbon Pub in SFO’s Terminal 1 is an absolute gem and a perfect stop before a flight. The service is incredibly quick, and the entire staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming — exactly what you need in a busy airport setting.
The highlight of my visit was the bread pudding, which is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Rich, comforting, and perfectly made, it alone is worth stopping here for.
Great service, delicious food, and a relaxing atmosphere — Bourbon Pub is now one of my go-to spots in the airport. Highly recommended!

You would think they might at least serve a $20 drink in a clean/not worn out glass. But no, this pub simply DGAF about that. I’ve had drinks from better glasses at dive bars in small towns with less than 10k population. For a “Bourbon Pub” in a place like SF is a case of sheer disdain against patrons.

Our server, Maila, really impressed me with the quality of the service she provided. Coffee cups were refilled quickly and often as was our water. She offered bottles of water and coffee to go as well. The food was OK, with the salmon toast being our favorite. The atmosphere is like a well lit bar, with tables for couples. It’s along one of the main routes for the B gates so easy access.

Came in with low expectations for an airport restaurant and left impressed. The space is an open-air pub with plenty of outlets at every seat, huge plus. My server, Maila, was fantastic. Even as the place got busy, she juggled clearing tables, greeting guests, and helping other servers without ever neglecting me. Always attentive and upbeat.
Ordered the Korean BBQ salmon burger and it was surprisingly good. Perfectly cooked salmon, fresh ingredients, and tons of flavor. Overall, a great airport dining surprise.

I cannot speak for the rest of the food, but I came here solely because some reviews gave their burger high praise… and honestly? It’s pretty great for an airport burger. I am surprisingly impressed. The flavor profile is great. The burger has this smoky taste to it that when blended with the flavor of the melted cheese really hits the spot. Additionally, the burger had a great sear / char to it and was cooked medium rare as requested.
Lastly, I appreciated the service provided by Franklin! Quick, friendly, and attentive. This next part is small but huge.. we got our bill super quickly. Great to see this airport restaurant knows what it is and knows most people don’t have much time to kill.

Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Bourbon Burger was excellent . Service was fast, friendly, pleasant, and courteous. It’s on the pricey side, but well worth it.
