We held my husband’s 65th birthday party in the cool private room on top of the restaurant.
First the food is very good. We liked the in-house s’mores pie so much we use that as our birthday cake. They did not charge a room charge if we made their minimum order which was not very high.
The service was outstanding. We had several people more than enough for our party size. Upstairs, we had an open bar and we did buffet style and we also had several different separate rooms for musicians and other things.
Lastly, they went out of their way to split the leftover food among family members and went out of their way to split it evenly or everybody could have a piece.
Just great atmosphere great food, and great service

Not sure what the hype is about for a bbq place that does not serve good bbq. The amount of hard pieces of over cooked meat in my brisket sandwich is very disappointing.

The picture doesn’t do it justice – the half chicken was huge! The skin so crispy and the meat so tender. Bread & butter pickles are just as advertised – the best pickles I’ve ever had. The corn bread is the BEST corn bread ever – too good to even get a picture. The slider trio was wonderful and the meat just melts in your mouth. The restaurant is super nice and even the ceiling tiles have engraved patterns. The staff is just wonderful.

The staff here are excellent! They provided great service and were super accommodating for our group. The vibe is fun and friendly, making it a spot I’d highly recommend for a quick bite or drink.
Now, let’s talk food:
The Prime Rib French Dip was just okay. I enjoyed the meat itself, but the “horseradish sauce” was a real letdown – it had absolutely no horseradish flavor. The au jus could’ve used a flavor boost, though the onions and cheese on the sandwich were great.

On a brighter note, the Market Salad was great!

Unfortunately, the mac and cheese was a big disappointment. It was grainy, almost as if it broke or wasn’t mixed properly. Also, a heads-up: the cornbread has jalapeño in it, which isn’t mentioned on the menu. It was still good, but worth knowing.

The sliders were decent, except for the chicken. We were expecting something like “beer can chicken,” but it was more akin to a chicken salad.

A friend raved that the coleslaw was excellent, and the stacked nachos were good. Just be warned, once you get past the top layer, it’s mostly chips, so make sure to save some toppings for the bottom.

Enjoyed the pork Pozole (a type of Mexican soup {originating from Aztec Culture}). The pork was shredded with a smoky flavor, the hominy was cooked perfectly (a bit shy of firm) in an authentic red broth seasoned with all of the traditional fixings (chilies, onions, cilantro etc.)
I enjoyed with… delicious cornbread…a bit out of the tradition.

Fabulous young lady server, although the welcome of the host when entering was not the warmest…half of beer can chicken was ridiculously big but very well Cajun seasoned

They were able to fit us in with a busy dinner service and a last minute reservation. My coworker and I came for happy hour. However, that was the best part. The vibes appeared okay, although the real animal heads on the wall were pretty intense. My drinks were weak and not that tasty, but I chose not to send that back because I already received an attitude from a runner when I asked for no sour cream on my nachos; “nachos always come with sour cream!” False. Also, it was not listed on the menu. It took a while for them to come back out (no idea it takes nachos that long to be made). They were remade and not even worth the wait but I was hungry. The beans on the side were subpar. We got moved TWICE, even though they said we could “stay as long as you like” and “this way we won’t have to move you again.” We got stares and my friend said the staff even pointed at us before we were asked to move again. I had heard this place was good but I won’t be back, nor will I recommend it in the future. Not super expensive, but not worth what I had paid.

From the moment we walked in, everything about our lunch experience was exceptional. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home with their attentive and friendly service. The FOOD was OMGEEE!!! So delicious, and perfectly cooked. My son lives in Nashville, TN and BBQ is not easy to cook and season to perfection…

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic meal!

We came in for BBQ on a weeknight and they were packed. We made reservations, but the reservation system seems to be disjointed from the way they seat guests, as they have a few large, community style tables and when we got there they asked if we wanted to sit at one of those with others. Fortunately there was a hi-top for two available which we took instead.

After we sat, we waited a while for someone to greet us… like I said, they were busy and they only had two servers. The ladies serving were friendly, which was nice. We ordered their tri-tip sandwich and their beef dip sandwich. The tri-tip meat was very dry and flaky and not very appetizing to eat. The french dip sandwich had better meat on it, but the sandwich was dry and I didn’t detect much horseradish sauce on it. Their side of beans were just ok, but too sweet and actually harder than al dente. Cole slaw needed lots of salt and still lacked that cole slaw flavor.

Overall, wasn’t impressed, definitely wouldn’t return.
