Really great sports bar, even better if you’re a Philly Sports fan! Some of the best food I’ve ever had in a sports bar.

Cheesteak: absolutely delicious! Slighty more food than your average burger but a lot smaller than I expected a cheesteak to be. Perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Habanero chicken sandwich: perfectly cooked chicken sandwich. It was both juicy and flavorful. It’s very spicy, but not unbearable if you have any spice tolerance.

Sweet potato fries: crispy and well salted/seasoned.

Mozzarella sticks: prob some of the best mozz sticks I’ve ever had. They seem homemade and the marinana sauce is .

Went here to catch the Phillies playoff game and it was a great time! Lots of great energy to the bar and it was nice to be around so many Philadelphia fans in DC. Crispy brussels sprouts and spicy chicken sandwich were both delicious and the people working service were fast and very friendly. Will definitely go back

So my friend found this place on Instagram and she booked a reservation. Thank goodness because they had a line at opening. We were seated quickly host was so sweet. We ordered and food started flowing however mines came out 30minutes before my friends.

Food:
Chicken &French Toast: Chicken breast was over fried and dry French toast good.
Cinnamon bun : Good
Fries: Good

Friends order: Steak and eggs with a side of bacon. The steak was good potato’s were good eggs good. She said worth the wait.

Bottomless Mimosas were great view pictures.

I went here with friends a week ago on a Saturday night. It’s a nice place, but I had two very unsatisfactory service experiences.

First, the bartender took my order, a hummus plate and a shot of bourbon. She did not tell me that a service charge was going to be included, as every other place always does, so I added a generous tip. I ended up paying $10 for a $20 tab. Sure you can say l”et the buyer beware,” but it seemed underhanded. I mean come on. Ordering at the bar, she should have said something. I felt ripped off. Even more out of line in that I was providing the service. I had gone up to the bar to place my order instead of being served. Read on to see why it was especially crazy that I got charged a service charge since I served myself at the front end and was treated poorly at the back end.

Then the young man who brought the food just kind of threw it at me. There was no silverware or napkins on the table. He wasn’t interested. I was in the back corner of a booth, trapped by my party.

When he walked by again I asked him for a setup, and he pointed across the room and said “over there.” As if I should have asked all my friends to get up so I could get out and walk across the room and get it myself. I said “yes, but I’m over here.” His attitude came across as if I was putting him out suggesting that he should actually provide this service for me.

When I talk about brunch with friends the first place out of my mouth is Boundary Stone! Their Fried Chicken Benny is incredible. Tender and Crispy Fried Chicken with perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict is always my go to. Then the Bottomless Drink options are all great, but my go to is their Bloody Mary. It’s easily, hands down, the best Bloody Mary in DC. Its perfectly savory and has a bit of spice. Then also the staff is also incredible! They’re pretty quick to make sure you’re always topped up with your drink. Then they’re all very friendly too.
Honestly I’d go here every Saturday/Sunday if I could, because between the amazing food and drinks its also just great bang for your buck if you like doing a bottomless brunch.

Stopped by Boundary Stone for a catered event. Generally pretty good. Good vibes. Good food, and they mix their cocktails nice and strong.

A couple of their offerrings, like their Crispy Brussels Sprouts, qualified as really excellent. That said, there were one or two things that felt like they may have been a bit overseasoned. Overall a strong performance.

A thorough menu of food and drink options in a variety of different spaces to kick back with a beverage. A cool, large bar/restaurant.

Brunch consists of a varying plates, including hot chicken and some meatless/vegetarian dishes. All we’re delicious.

A cinnamon roll or two for the table makes a great starter.

Star deduction: You’ll find an automatic 20% gratuity regardless of party size.

Excellent spot in the heart of Bloomingdale. New American style pub offerings with solid cocktails and exceptionally warm service.

We went for brunch and had a really great experience from start to finish. Their house Bloody Mary is the best so far I’ve had in DC, a robust one with just enough heat to make it interesting.

We tried the deviled eggs and they were pretty good. The eggs themselves were a bit ordinary but the jalapeno crisps were a nice touch that tipped things over to good.

My main was the sausage Benedict with their homemade sausage and it was solid, definitely worth trying. The accompanying potatoes were not memorable.

Everything else we tried including their cinnamon roll was very good.

Looking forward to returning to try more of the menu.

Only place to go for an Eagles or Phillies game in DC. Best cheesesteak in the city by a mile, and honestly better than many cheesesteaks in Philly. A bit pricey but I can’t recommend this place more.

Honestly was not sure what to expect from a spot that had been so hyped on social media and had a free bottomless option for folks that come in early but we had an absolute ball of a time at Boundary Stone for our long weekend. Tried the honey hot seitan eggs benedict and honestly it was SO delicious, I have not had a vegetarian dish that feels like they’ve taken the time and effort into making something equally amazing for folks who don’t eat meat. French toast and chicken was also delicious and the cinnamon roll had a cream cheese glaze and was to die for. The bottomless drinks were in pint glasses and the service was impeccable, they kept coming around every five minutes to refill our drinks. Safe to say I had a much needed nap after brunch but it was a wonderful and really worth it experience. Definitely will be back!
