Went for a spontaneous girls night out last night, around 730pm. We made a reso in case, but it wasn’t necessary. The restaurant is located in downtown Somerville and was full inside, but had plenty of seating on the outside patio. It was nice and quiet and we were immediately greeted by our server, Lexi. Since it was our first time, we opted to try several of the appetizers instead of going for entrees. This included the Grilled Octopus, Crispy Calamari, Canneloni Jump Crab Meat w/Avocado Roll, Pow Pow Shrimp, and Grilled Scallops. Everything was excellent! The scallops were grilled to perfection, the calamari was lightly breaded and filling, I even enjoyed the octopus (which I don’t usually love). I found the Canneloni roll to be a little bland tasting (could have used some salt or seasoning), and the Pow shrimp had a thick coat of fry that I removed. I was also sad to hear they removed the fish tacos from the menu, as I had heard such great things about them! Each meal comes with fried corn fritters to start, which were sooo good! FYI: It’s BYOB, so make sure to come prepared!

Absolutely 5/5 experience! While on the pricier side, it felt worth the money which is important to me. Everything from the customer service to the food quality was top notch! Our waitress was so personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The calamari was the perfect texture and the sauces provided complimented it very well. The pasta was super flavorful and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The tuna in the poke bowl was so tender it melted in your mouth. It was our first time coming and won’t be our last! Plus they provided a free appetizer- corn fritters which was the loveliest surprise and yummy just like everything else!

Amazing dish — the filet was tender and perfectly cooked, topped with flavorful herbed butter. The shrimp in creamy garlic sauce were fresh and delicious, and the spinach soaked everything up perfectly. Great presentation, great flavors, and even better with the glass of red. Highly recommend.

I ate here with my girlfriend and her mom. Everyone enjoyed their meals, apps, and drinks. The bar was recently completed and it was open too. Was delicious, will be eating here again.

Hard to find good food. This place has it! Friendly and very attentive staff. We had no reservation and was sat quick- was a slow evening. Fried calamari tested fresh, and the lobster roll was all delicious, only thing that could of been better was the chips. It tasted a bit too Burt for liking. Overall great taste, experience. Definitely recommend!

This is our second visit and both visits have been good. The food is extremely good though this time the oysters didn’t seem as fresh especially the Kumamoto. The salmon was fresh and excellent. We ordered the scallop appetizer as an entree and the scallops were good, they were slightly overdone and slightly chewy. My wife loved the lobster roll and the fries. The dessert double chocolate mousse was great but could’ve been better if they made it all as a mousse and not add the cake at the bottom which was mediocre.the only odd thing I found was that both the times they seated us at the corner next to the toilet maybe because we were the only ones with a toddler, it’s not a big deal but was just a little weird given the whole restaurant was empty. The service was also very good both times

Great find for Sunday brunch in Somerville. We struggled to find a good brunch place as the few “known spots” were super packed. Boulevard Seafood Company is easy to miss from the outside, which is probably why we didn’t have trouble getting a table, sitting on the small covered deck in the back. Not the greatest view overlooking the parking lot, but it was a nice sunny August day, so we enjoyed it. The food and service were great, we’ll definitely be back.

One of my favorite go to places in Somerville. My favorite seat is at the chef’s table so I can watch what’s going on & ask the prep guys questions. Greg the chef is always on hand with a smile & to tell me what I should eat, since I can never make up my mind (well that’s after scoffing off a couple of dozen raw oysters, which are always fresh & tasty). I’m fairly sure I’ve eaten everything off of their menu & there isn’t anything that I don’t like! Fish is always fresh, sauces are amazing. The seafood paella is by far the best I’ve tasted anywhere, there is more seafood in there than rice! The octopus & shrimp salad is amazing. Their variation of poke just melts in your mouth. The seafood risotto is another favorite. Can’t go wrong with taco’s any day of the week!
The staff are always their to fill your water, pour you more wine, answer any questions, super friendly and all work well together. Whether it’s a quiet Wednesday or a super busy Friday night car night they all help each other out & listen to Greg yell out table after table & what he needs & somehow they get it done. It’s quite amazing really. Every time we are there we see the same repeat locals, all signs of an excellent restaurant.
