I live in East Oakland. I travel to Blvd I only eat Fillet Of Sole. I’d like ” thicker pieces ” but after doing research realizing Sole is a thin fish. Its tasty. I order the family size so I can really dig in. The hush puppies are good. My go to spot for fish. Too bad it’s not closer to me. Request ….larger side orders. ( Wrong place for seasoned fries. I came here a few days ago after Googling fish and chips and this was one of the restaurants that popped open. The service was fast and very convenient, reasonably priced and the food was delicious. It was later in the evening and I ate while driving so I don’t have food pics but it did not disappoint.

One of Richmond’s hidden food gems that’s been around since 90’s. I used to come here for BBQ, but it seems to have converted into a seafood spot. This was my first visit in years and I mad that I waited so long to return.
I ordered the 5 piece prawn sandwich plate. The prawns were plump, fried and seasoned perfectly. The fries were ok, but it’s best to eat them asap before they get soggy. Next time, I will choose another side.
I highly recommend this spot for some delicious, close to homemade seafood.

Boulevard Fish has been there for years. Its food is the best, it’s not too salty or spicy. The staff is very polite, and the food is always well prepared.

We were on the way home from the beach and decided to stop for some fried seafood. This place was the closest to where we were at the time…and I wish I could get a refund. I got the chicken dinner, consisting of 3-4 big wings and 2 sides. I chose fries and greens. My son got the fried red snapper with fries and a side of onion rings. Total was $52.00…the fries were plain and tasted like the cheapest bag of fries from the dollar store or something. Fish and chicken were ok, but nothing to take a detour for. Truly disappointed and still hungry.

Having been away from Richmond for over 25 years, I found myself home and looking for fish on Friday I went to where “Cutting Fish & Poultry” used to be.
Thank God that Boulevard Fish had moved in.
The catfish and oysters were amazing and not greasy, they were cooked to perfection.
I had to return, and every time I’m home in the Bay Area I will be back.

Fish is so good and fresh but in tiny pieces! Comes with fries and tartar and hot sauce. 2 way with prawns is good. Greens were bitter.

Food was not good. The yams are worse I’ve ever had. The catfish does not have a good taste. The greens were mediocre. First and last time for me. I don’t understand how anyone could rate this food a 4 or 5, even 3.
