Had not been there in a long time, food and service still great. Love their coffee (black) and fried beans.

Nothing fancy. Not the decor or the food. However, it’s clean, fast and reasonably priced with decent portions. Presentation is not a consideration here, it’s just on the plate. My main problem – no flavor. Not the eggs, not the nopales not the rice or the beans. Without the salsas on the table – bland.

Great home made style food, came for breakfast I had a machaca breakfast burrito, which was hot to the order and good! And then my buddy ordered just usual huevos rancheros which were also delicious and make to order, and came out steaming hot! Prices are ok.

This hole in the wall restaurant is in the heart of East L.A. The style of cooking is home cook that your grandmother and mother cook for you.

This place has gone down since the last owners left. The caldo de pollo was basically hot water with raw veggies. The carrots and Calabasa were too hard. The rice was cold. I ordered th machaca and the rice was also cold. Also, to get service for refills is almost impossible.

The last time I came for Menudo, which used to he the best here, I asked for it without Pata, and my request was ignored.

I don’t think it’s the same as it was, which is sad, but I don’t think I’ll be returning anymore.

First time having Blvd Cafe but won’t be the last. I had green chilaquiles with eggs and steak with sides of rice and beans. The food was pretty good and they live up to the authentic Mexican food staple. The food felt like if I was back home eating breakfast. I live supporting small business and will continue to do so by coming back here.
