This place is a great local business. Parking can be challenging to find a spot. Boulevard Burgers has counter service with a dining area that seats 15-20 inside and another 20-ish outside.
I had the avocado bacon cheese burger and fries. The burger was loaded with tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, and dressing. The serving size for the fries was substantial and filling.
Overall, eating at Boulevard Burgers is definitely worth it to pay a little extra for a quick bite to eat.

Stopped by Boulevard Burger recently with my son – I hadn’t been here since high school and was curious to see if it still held up.
We ordered a couple of burgers, and I went with the Texas combo. Both meals came with fries. Also ordered onion rings. The food was prepared relatively quickly, and the service was friendly throughout. The family owned feel adds a nice personal touch. For a burger joint, pricing was a bit on the high side. while everything g was decent, nothing popped flavor wise.
The atmosphere is minimal, being a small burger joint. It’s located next to a motel and has a tiny indoor space with a few tables and a small outdoor patio that’s a bit more inviting. Nice greenery outside gives it a better vibe and keeps it cool in the summer.
I came for the nostalgia , but it didn’t quite live up to what I remembered. I would not rush back here, but wouldn’t tell anyone to avoid either.

This is my go-to, classic, no frills hole in the wall burger joint that just gets it right every time. I always get the double chili cheeseburger combo. The chili is homemade and well executed… the burger itself has just the right meat/bun/toppings ratio. The fries are always crispy & piping hot, riding the perfect line right between steak & shoestring. The service is always genuine from the gentlemen behind the counter. Refugio takes pride on that grill. Please support this valley institution as I see it’s never too busy, however this place deserves any burger lovers attention!

I went on a Wednesday and I was the only one there, so the service was fast but obviously I can’t say anything about the atmosphere, nowadays seems like all the people order online anyway.
About the food I can say it was pretty good, I got a double cheeseburger combo and it was very good, the amount of fries was good as well so for the price it’s worth trying. I didn’t love it completely but I’m pretty sure I’d come back for a double cheeseburger once in a while, compared to my favorite spot here the cool thing is that you get your cup and can refill your soda without charge and also you can get ranch for no cost either. ✅✅

Super crispy fries! Tried their club sandwich and regular cheeseburgers, both delicious. Large portions so can definitely share.
Very casual seating. They have a cute patio behind the restaurants with hanging plants if you want to sit and dine.

Ordered by phone a classic bacon cheeseburger with fries..
Got there 10 mins after placing order. And the food was ready.
Semi red flag.
Saw leftover fries sitting under warmer and then placed in bag. Red flag for sure..
Charges for ranch for fries $1. 🙁
Free for onion rings.
All in all, meal my room temperature meal was $20 with no drink.
Right after driving off the first fry that I ate was semi cold. Second fry, semi-warm. Third fry cold.
The fries were starchy, could taste the oil in them and just plain rubbery. I should have swung back and made them redo my fries.
I was hoping the saving grace would be my burger. Because I figure it must be warm and good… nope it was cold.
I arrived home ten mins after getting the food and the burger is cold. Cheese is consolidated and patty is not even lukewarm.
This is not right especially for a hungry patron.
Sorry to compare, but I regret coming here as $20 could have gotten me two meals at in and out. Yes the fries at in and out get cold fast but the burger would be at least warm.
All in all, check your food before leaving any restaurant as it may be not to your liking.

I had a double bacon cheeseburger, fries were great needed a bit more seasoning for my particular taste. Burger was overloaded with cheese, maybe I will go back and try it with no cheese to compare! Great customer service guys were friendly.

I always drive past this location. After reading some of the other reviews Finally decided to give this burger joint a try. I had western burger combo, burger was well done & tasty, right portion. A bit on the pricey side but what’s cheap now days? I will recommend this location to any other burger lover to give it a try. Very simple menu good environment away from the craziness of other well known locations. Most small burger joints have other foods in menu. i myself stick to burgers or fries only just because the rest of the food might not be that great. So why spoil a good burger place for other foods.
