Social Profile:

This is the first and only Boulangerie Christophe in the United States. We are proud to bring a homemade, truly authentic french bakery experience to Georgetown. All that with the unique vision of providing customers with an experience that emulates the authentic, yet cozy feeling of true cafe dining in Saint-Tropez, south of France. The star of our bakery will be the Baguette (recently elected best Baguette in the US last October 2019), dark and crusty on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. We will have an assortment of breads at Boulangerie Christophe: from the whole grain, wheat, and sesame, to crunchy white. We also have breads, pastries, croissants and more that will change with every season to keep up with your desires.

I usually love their cakes slices but this order was pretty bad. The chocolate slice cake was
So hard and looked weird, i didn’t even try it. The marble cake tasked old, the hazelnut was ok but it looks like it was the last piece, the back was full of crumbs. The Mille
Feuille tasted good but soggy not crispy as usual. The Gateau Nantais Slice was very good soft and moist and the flan vanilla was delicious you could tell both of them were freshly made.

The place was busy. Most of the items tasted great, but some of them were overly creamy. We had a good time, but it could definitely be improved. They forgot our drink, so we had to wait until the rest of our order arrived.

Boulanger Christophe at Cabin John Shopping Center is a gem. Vanessa is amazing and she is such a sunshine there. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made — especially the pastries and bread. Service is always warm and attentive without being overbearing. A place that makes you feel welcome and keeps you coming back!

We’ve bought the raspberry cake here several times before and liked it, so we purchased one again last night to bring to a dinner party. Unfortunately, when we cut it, it smelled like rotten raspberry and alcohol, so we had to throw the slices away and couldn’t serve it to our guests.

We brought the remaining cake back the next morning. The staff questioned why we didn’t bring the entire cake and handled the situation poorly. They eventually refunded the money but never apologized for selling a cake that had clearly gone bad. Very disappointing experience.

Great bread and good ingredients result in excellent sandwiches or panini or whatever you want to call them. Some pastries are good. coffee is illy so you can’t go wrong except in the execution. I ordered in 4 different occasions an espresso macchiato and each time I got something different including a cappuccino cup filled to the rim with espresso and some foam all the way to an actual macchiato

Absolutely splendid! I’m so glad I stopped here. On a Sunday morning, it wasn’t too busy, and there was plenty of seating. I highly recommend the chicken bechamel crepe, it was delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well. One of the only places around that sell millefeuille!

Ordered 4 meals (3 lunches )around one yesterday. One was this morning’s breakfast , Quiche Lorraine. Ate it after warming first. I was dumbfounded at the excellent taste of the whole thing after a day sitting in my fridge. Mostly the crust flavor was delicious. A bit thick but perfect for the contents it carried. I can’t remember ever writing a review for crust but this crust warrants this praise.

Likely the best pasteries in Montgomery County. They have French pastry chefs and flour imported from France. Everything we have tasted there has been exceptional: croissants, pain chocolat, tortes, sandwiches, baguettes, etc. It is worth the visit.

If you are longing for a good French pastry or just want to sit and enjoy a coffee in Parisian Cafe ambiance, try this place! My first time here and was amazed by the variety of breads and pastries. Everything looked so wonderful, A tremendous selection of macaroons, and you could buy packages of 6 or 9 which make great gifts for giving to a dinner host.

Items were a bit on the expensive side, but everything I bought was super tasty.

Plenty of parking as it is in a (high end) strip mall.
