We came around dinner time, and there was already a long queue. Still, we decided to try and it was totally worth it.
They manage the line very well, and we waited about 15–20 minutes. Inside, the restaurant was completely full and very lively, with such a classic Parisian atmosphere. We were seated at a table in the back corner, which was actually quite nice.
We tried several dishes and everything was amazing. The food was really good, the prices are very affordable, and the staff were nice, friendly, and helpful.
Definitely worth the wait.

Great place with affordable prices to try traditional french food. I love the friendliness of the waiter, he was like an old friend and we felt welcomed. The foie gras was great and generous for the cost, the prawn starters with mayonnaise were acceptable. The duck was quite overcooked and dry, but overall still a great dinner experience for the price we paid.

The food here was great! I ordered the Duck Confit with Potatoes and my friend ordered the Vegetarian Spaghetti, we ordered 6 escargot to share and 1 coke each. Everything tasted great but I personally felt my potatoes were just soaked in oil/butter. This may just be personal preference though!!
The service was great! Our waiter was kind and made lots of small talk. One downside is that it took a while for us to be seated. We entered and waited in the waiters line of sight as we were unsure if this was a ‘seat yourself’ restaurant or a ‘wait to be seated’ restaurant. Turns out you need to wait but there was no sign which made us a bit confused. Our waiter had speedy service and we enjoyed every moment!
The price is fine for the quality and although the dishes look a bit small they are very filling.

Very nice big restaurant. Come early if you want to skipp lines. If you must wait in line, just go for it, service is fast anyway.
Many classic dishes. Expect exactly what you order: no more no less. We has, escargo, dumpling, avocado shrimp. Main course: andouilette, boeuf bourginion and duck. 2 bottles of wine. Desert.
Dishes taste good and are cheap, but quality is good.

We went there right after they opening and we got a table as soon as we got there but when we got out there was a huge queue near 12:45. They were really kid and respectful and they are very jolly with kids! What ate was absolutely delicious and the pric is very low for everything! It’s perfect if you want a nice paris food experience it’s the perfect place with a complete affordable budget !! Nothing bad to say, the toilets are very clean!! Thank you so much to all of the staff!!❤️

We passed by here on our way to another restaurant and decided that we should try this one as it’s so busy and had long queue outside.
It opens at 1130 and we were there around 1145 so we did not have to wait so long (there were still some space inside).
They gave us menu after seating us but they were in french. I tried to ask from a few people but they didn’t stop to ask me what I needed. And a server told me “I’m working on the other side of the alley” therefore he didn’t help me. He was rude and I was stunned.
Finally we ordered after I google translated the menu. The server wrote our order on the table cover/paper.

Then came our duck breast and duck confit. They were good. Not wow.
We then asked for the bill and the server added our meal prices on the table cover/paper. It was interesting and I said, “wow they need to do maths?!”
All in all, it was ann experience.
The servers wow, they carried maybe 10 plates in one go. Or 5 bottles at a time.

This place was such a great experience! The food is good for the price but the best part is the atmosphere. Be prepared to queue but it does move quickly, especially of you avoid the busier times. Service is also quick and no fuss, don’t expect to be waited on. You will be sat with others at a table if you’re a smaller party, but that’s part of the fun. It’s more of an experience than a meal that you sit and take your time over. We came here on our first night and it was a wonderful start to our trip.

I would rate this overall 4.5/5 if I could. I went here twice in a span of three days. This restaurant opens very late, we arrived at 10pm and there was a queue but it moved gradually. The food was definitely on the more affordable side, with main dishes ranging from €9-€12.50, starters, cheese and dessert were all inexpensive too, additionally they give you a bread basket too. We enjoyed the steak, duck breast, pork snout, duck confit and cheeses. The calf’s head was on the fattier side and the beef stew was a little dry in some places, still good though.
As the restaurant was packed we had to share the table with another couple, which was fine but something to note.
The wine is cheap and cheerful too.
The service was on the slower side, due to amount of tables but was fine if you didn’t mind having a good time with the meal! The waiters we had were nice, and was multilingual, speaking English to us and Spanish to the couple next door.
