I love Boudreaux’s! I usually get the Chicken Fried Chicken. This day i had the Super Jambalaya, which has seafood as well as sausage, chicken and shrimp. So tasty! However, I couldn’t leave without having some CFC, in little fried ball form though! Combined with mashed potatoes, the chopped up CFC is breaded and fried, then served with Boudreauex’s well-known salty, savory yellow gravy. Yum!

A bit of a unique experience. Absolutely worth checking out. Probably the best place in St. Joe’s! The staff are great as t and it was a good time.
Update: after going back a second time it was still just as unique of an experience as the first time. Such a cool and interesting location and the food comes out near perfect every time. The bartenders are great conversation lists and will make you laugh in a heartbeat. They are fun engaging well also Bing fast with the drinks. This is a must go to location if you’re anywhere near St Joe’s

I had a really enjoyable lunch here, even though I can’t quite remember the exact name of the dish I ordered. Whatever it was, it ended up being a great choice and the meal was very satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was seated when I arrived, which made the whole experience start off smoothly without a long wait.
The server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, making sure everything was going well and that I had what I needed. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, which made it easy to enjoy the food and take a break during the day. It turned out to be a very pleasant lunch visit and I would definitely stop by again.

This is a gem in St Joseph! Friendly service, awesome atmosphere (made to feel like you’re on Bourbon Street), and the food was outstanding at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

During a day trip to St Joe in mid-May of 2025, a Google listing for seafood caught our eye. This is how we ended up at Boudreaux’s Louisiana Seafood & Steaks. We ordered the Sexy Raz for a drink, the Fried Alligator for appetizer. The Broiled Red snapper with Dirty Rice and a Tuna steak with Potatoes Bordeaux for our entrees and finally the Bourbon pecan pie for dessert. The food had great flavor and the portions were adequate. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. And the prices were reasonable. Access to the building is a little of a mystery as the big signs are over doors that are marked as exit only. The main entrance is on the side street from the parking lot, with no signs at the time of our visit. I will place Boudreaux’s in my list of places to return when I’m in the area.

I have been to Boudreaux’s more times than I can count. The food has been excellent every time.
They have recently relocated to a new building, and the food service seems to have slowed a little. The servers are still very attentive, and my drink never went empty.
I miss the fantastic old school bar, but they seem to have decorated to a more modern New Orleans atmosphere.
Overall the restaurant remains great!

Tuna steak was very good!
Lainie, our waitress, was amazing! (I’ve been in the hospital for a week, and she made our lunch very pleasant!
We missed seeing the old bar, but their new location is very nice!
My husband had the super jambalaya, and he said 4 stars. He wished he had ordered the seafood jambalaya (seafood only). He said it was a LOT of food.
