Order the chicken and sausage gumbo dark roux, no holy Trinity in sight sad to say but it tasted like it was from the bottom of the pot.

I go there for lunch every day while I’m at work on my work week and I get the gumbo every time but they do sell other items on the menu such as fried Chicken boudin of course and numerous other things but the gumbo is just my favorite you can either get shrimp call chicken and sausage.!!! Highly recommend

Stopped here for lunch, we ordered the chicken gumbo and the boudin.
The gumbo was probably the best I’ve ever had. It wasn’t to spicy and the sausage in it was delicious.
The boudin was really tasty and the rice was not mushy like it is at most places.
The servers were all so sweet and accommodating to all the questions I had.

The food was horrible. No seasoning. I ordered chicken. It was horrible. Boudin rice was mushy. Gumbo had no taste. The service was okay. There was a frog in the toilet. This use to be a popular place to go to when traveling. I don’t know what happened.

I saw their billboard Hwy-10. I am glad that I went to Boudin King. Family own. I had a bowl chicken and sausage gumbo, Boudin balls, and onion rings. Everything I ordered was excellent. I highly recommend to stop there for lunch or dinner

Food was okay…not awful, not great. Roux in the gumbo was thin, and everything in my seafood basket was overcooked, but had decent sized portions. The potato salad was different. The service was quick!
