Just outstanding!
The photos tell the story, everything was great: bone marrow, escargot, carpaccio, beef bourguignon, pasta with lobster, steak, salmon – and the desserts?!? Wow. Great wine list as well.
The service was amazing, and it wasn’t just our great servers, it was the Somm, GM (thank you!) and everyone we encountered.
And the place looks and feels great. A really great experience that shouldn’t be missed if you want great French in NYC.

We celebrated a birthday lunch at Boucherie Union Square before visiting Anne Frank, The Exhibition at the nearby Center for Jewish History. Our server, Gaudi, provided wonderful service with friendly and pleasant conversation, excellent recommendations, and a special birthday treat for my husband. I had French onion soup, with croutons and Gruyère and the Le Croque Madame with Jambon, Gruyère, egg, and petite salade, both delicious. My husband had the Beef Bourguignon, a Traditional French braised beef, with carrots, mushrooms, bacon, and pommes purée. After these delicious dishes, we enjoyed a special birthday treat as well as a Boucherie book with history, photos, and recipes! Thank you, Boucherie and Gaudi!

Most restaurants are expensive nowadays but this one I can actually say was worth it. The food, service, and atmosphere were just incredible. The steak was cooked to perfection and the french onion soup was divine. The staff was also so charming and attentive. Would definitely come back for special occasions, dates, or dinners with the family.

One of the top French cuisine restaurants in NYC. Everything from decor to service is top tier! I’ve been going to all Boucheries in NYC for years and highly recommend all locations. I ordered the steak skewers from their Green hour/Happy hour along with a dirty martini. The steak was good, just wish there was one more skewer for the price, maybe an appetizer is better value. Martini was very good and service was 10/10 professional and attention to detail always.

Food was absolutely delicious, the staff was outstanding, and the atmosphere was adorable! My partner and I ate here before a Broadway show this month, and their pre-theater menu did not disappoint. The prime steak frites were incredible — I actually ordered the Bavette en Persillade but was so glad my partner shared theirs because WOW!
Our server, Sophia, was wonderful — so knowledgeable about the wines and menu options, and she made sure we were really well taken care of.
Funny enough, I realized later that I had eaten at Boucherie (their other location) about four years ago with my sister (she reminded me when I told her about it!). I’m terrible with names, so I didn’t make the connection right away, but it was just as amazing back then. I even found a photo of my breakfast from that first visit. The food this time around was so good I forgot to take a picture before diving in!
Truly such a charming spot — consistently excellent food, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend this place, especially before a show!

Typical expensive Manhattan experience. They tried their best but I was not that impressed. Steak was good but not great. Bread needs to be better. Salmon good. Seems very popular, place filled up quickly.

Amazing atmosphere and ambience, food is great even though it took a bit longer and both of our entrees came after 45-50minutes shortly after though without us requesting our mains came. Service was great all servers were extremely polite and hospitable, we were seated at a tiny table in front of the kitchen prep area which was non stable and wobbly , we requested to switch seats and we were placed on the booths which was way nicer, funny thing is that two more couples were placed there after us and also had to switch. I’d highly recommend management to remove that table as besides that’s dangerous is also not comfortable as the busser accidentally would bump onto the person sat which creates discomfort for the guest.

Lunch at Boucherie Union Square was absolutely lovely! The Boucherie burger was excellent—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Our server, Ben, was awesome—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The mimosas were spot on, and the asparagus was delicious. On top of all that, I just love the look and atmosphere of the restaurant.
