If you’re ever cruising around Bottle Bay and miss this spot, you might as well turn your boat around and question your life choices.
The waitresses? Absolute legends & friendlier than your grandma at Christmas, but with way better drink recommendations. The food? Let’s just say I was two bites in before I started planning my next trip back.
But here’s the real kicker: the Peanut Butter & Jelly Hamburger. Yes, you read that right. A burger with peanut butter AND jelly. It sounds like something a sleep-deprived college kid invented at 2 AM, but trust me it’s genius. Sweet, savory, a little messy, and probably what Elvis would have eaten if he owned a grill by the lake.
Bottom line: come for the views, stay for the staff, and don’t leave until you’ve had the PB&J burger. You’ll thank me later.

A fun, casual spot to stop when you’re out on the lake! The burgers were delicious. We also had french fries and a cocktail. Ellie was fantastic and gave great service! We’ve been back since our first time and had a great experience the second time as well. You can’t beat the view!

Was a little hesitant with previous reviews but heard new owners. Went at 5pm on a Friday and it was very pleasant. Excellent, attentive service and the burgers are actually -tremendous- a very easy 5 stars for us.

I mean… it’s ON the lake, in scenic little Bottle Bay. Old school, broken down dock and gas pump but the place is simple, unpretentious yet surprisingly good burgers and friendly staff.

Delicious Food – Terrible Wait Time
We waited over an hour for 4 burgers and fries. It was a Wednesday at lunch time, there were several other full tables but quite a few empty ones as well. Thankfully when the food did arrive it was hot, fresh, and delicious. Hoping it’s a one time fluke. We probably won’t take our kids again because it was way too long for them to wait.

After sitting for 35 minutes with the menus in front of us; the only thing we were served was water. The waitresses walked by multiple times helping other tables near us; without even acknowledging our party.
Watched 3 groups get served drinks and orders placed who were seated after we were. We asked to get our order taken and were told the waitress would be coming down to our table once she was done talking to a party upstairs; this never happened.
People at other tables started to notice and comment that we had not been served after sitting for 35 minutes.
When we got up to leave without getting service; the waitress thanked us for coming in and told us to have a good evening – even though we only had water and menus were still on the table.
Thank goodness the Captains Table in Garfield Bay was welcoming as always with great food and cocktails.
P.S. the smell of raw sewage overtook the entire atmosphere.

4 of us took a boat over to the bar and grill on September 13. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, very disappointing given that we checked the hours ahead of time. Website stated that the place would be open on Wednesdays through mid-September. We ended up at the Floating restaurant, where service and food are always great.

We had an excellent lunch here. Between us we ordered a burger, a prime rib sandwich, and a brisket sandwich. Excellent job on the smoked meats. Service was great. All around a wonderful experience out on the deck.
