Its hard to eat out gluten and dairy free. Discovered Botanika last year and wow! Its been great every time we have eaten there. My husband does not have to eat like me, but really enjoys eating there. Had brunch on Valentine’s Day and it was wonderful. Relaxing music, a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Delicious Anti-Inflammatory juice! Was craving something with pineapple, ginger, and kale, a zing of health on a 20-degree winter day. It was so good and foamy. Adorable, whimsical spot. Will come back to try their soups.
5 stars!!

This café has such a warm and inviting vibe—the decor is absolutely beautiful, with cozy touches that make it a lovely spot to relax or catch up with friends. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into creating a charming space.
However, the drinks didn’t quite live up to the ambiance. We ordered an iced matcha and a cappuccino, and both were just average in taste and quality. Not bad, but nothing memorable either.
Still, if you’re looking for a peaceful place with great aesthetics, it’s worth a visit. Hopefully the drinks improve to match the rest of the experience!

Visited Botanika today for the first time since my daughter and I had to attend something in neighboring South Salem. We live about 45 minutes away but will definitely return. First off, it’s located on the main drag in Ridgefield which is an absolutely adorable little New England town right next to Westchester. It’s a great way to spend a half day and feel like you are on a mini vacation, with local museums, a pretty park, quaint shops, and lots of places to eat like Botanika! The people working there were so nice and helped us decide what to order from the extensive menu. My daughter is vegan and has a gluten sensitivity so this place was like hitting the jackpot for her. As neither a vegan or gluten free person I still loved it! It is cozy, quaint, kitschy, and quirky. We loved sitting in the window seat tables with artsy pillows below the flowery hanging decor. We had the Stroganoff special which was gluten free pasta (I usually hate gluten free pasta but this I couldn’t tell at all- they said it comes from Italy) with a plant based creamy sauce and mushrooms. It was delicious. We honestly fought over the last bits. We also had the Italian sandwich. Deliciously cooked vegetables- mushrooms, onions, peppers, squash, carrots on a hearty nutty like bread (again- I would never guess it was gluten free). My only complaint is that it was so full that it kinda of fell apart while I was eating it so I used a fork and knife. Might have been even better this way so I got a good variety with every bite. They have an extensive menu (not reflected on their website) so you’ll see when you get there, as well as a nice coffee, tea, smoothie, and natural beverage selection. The food, the vibe, the service were all excellent. They have desserts as well but there is also a big ice cream/ chocolate shop with indoor and outdoor seating right across the street that makes the perfect follow up. They also serve some plant based ice cream and chocolate options!

first time at this cafe, I’ve been meaning to get here for ages. hopefully I can come back in the future! I love love loved the raw key lime pie. it’s very tart but I enjoyed that.
the pancakes were just okay to me; I think I should have gotten something more savory. The pancakes were clearly made with almond flour or some such alternative so the texture was interesting.
The decor is cute in and outside. Service was great. Lots of options!

Botanica makes things easy. Rather than accommodating various diets to varying success they instead make a few top quality dishes. As a resuktnthese are accessible and delicious to almost everybody who goes in.
I really like this spot, and how easy they make it. While prices are a little high, certainly not the highest in town, the quality of food certainly is the best you can get.
For instance, so far this is one of the few places in the Northeast that knows how to cook mushrooms well in western style (they do not teach US chefs how to do this). So if you order some here you will educate your tongue.
Recommended.

Botanika is a splendid oasis! From the gracious owners to the inviting atmosphere, from the delectable food to its noble mission, everything is simply exceptional. It’s a rare gem that offers top-notch, allergen-friendly, organic cuisine—an absolute dream come true. I’ll be a devoted supporter of this small business, as it deserves to thrive!

This used to be our favorite place to eat even though it took almost two hours to get there. Our last visit there was so disappointing that we will never return. The all natural food is NOT all natural; it is store bought. The owner has become quite unfriendly and the vibe/atmosphere of the place is depressing and against everything we stand for as people who eat one 100% whole food, all plants. SMH
