Food was absolutely delicious & uniquely flavored compared to other places! Clam chowder & the lobster roll were amazing! A bit pricey but so good we skipped a nice dinner & had to go back the next day for more.

Boston & Maine Fish Co is a seafood restaurant located inside Faneuil Hall Marketplace, seving lobster rolls, clam chowder, and many other iconic New England seafood dishes.
The prices are a bit expensive for the portion, the lobster roll was smaller than we expected. It did come as a set meal with bag of chips, but the chips are a standard store bag.
The lobster roll had a garlic bread roll, it was good but the garlic did sort of overwhelm the lobster. We got it hot and buttered, whic we typically prefer in contrast to the cold Maine lobster rolls. It was alright to satisfy the craving, but was expensive.

For a market stall food place, they do a good but slightly expensive job.
There is plenty of space to sit and relax in the market place. Lots of food stalls to choose from. We tried the chowder and lobster roll. About $45 but quite taster although if you are used to cuisine from the South such as New Orleans, you may want to bring some hot sauce

I had clam chowder soup at Boston and Main fish co, it was very delicious. Must try their lobster roll as well. Nice destination in the winter and Christmas. Highly recommended.

I ordered lobster rolls and clam chowder. they were fire.
however , they charged me wrongly initially. when I told them, they were very defensive and told me there were taxes. they did not even check my bill and only checked after I told them to. if I have just flashed my credit card, I would have paid $60 more

It’s got terrible value for money. Just walk a couple steps further in and you can snag the same lobster roll salad for half the price. Plus, that lobster roll bread is super thick with barely any lobster meat in it. The tuna skewers taste awful too.

I ordered the steamer, lobster roll, and clam chowder, and honestly, the food was awful. Before ordering, I asked the guy in the picture how the steamers were—he said they were really good. Turned out they were full of sand and completely inedible. The lobster roll was just average—not what I expected at all. On top of that, the service was terrible. When I told the guy about the sand in the steamers, he just told me to rinse them with water. Definitely not coming back.

I ordered the white fish with salads & later ordered rice pilaf. The fish was fresh but probably was cooked a while ago so it was pretty cold. The rice was not good. Salads ok so so

The best New England Clam Chowder EVER! I grew up in Massachusetts so I am very fussy about what I like in a clam chowder. I now live in upstate New York so when I make it to Boston, I like to treat myself to a clam chowder. Who would have thought that I would find my dream clam chowder from a small vendor in Quincy Market. I had been referred to several well-known restaurants but after doing a taste test of a free sample at the Boston & Maine Fish Company, I was immediately hooked. What makes this clam chowder so outstanding is the creaminess, the delicate spices, and the amount of sizable clam chunks in the chowder. I ordered the bread boll size so I could dip the bread in the chowder and the bread was flaky and fresh. In addition to the outstanding quality of the chowder was the excellent service that I received from Miguel (who offered to put the chowder in a container so my bread bowl would not get soggy) and Marco who added humor to my day as he processed my receipt. Moreover, the Boston & Maine Fish Company has a reserved seating area for customers so you can sit down immediately and enjoy your delicious food. I so appreciated not having to fight the crowd to find a table in the general dining area. While enjoying my chowder, Adriene Costa, General Manager, came over to make sure that I had everything I needed and that my food was to my satisfaction. She was genuinely kind and we engaged in a lovely conversation. It was from Adriene that I learned that their clam chowder is made fresh on the premises. If you want a good clam chowder, make the Boston & Maine Fish Company at 200 Faneuil Hall Market Place in Boston your first stop.
