I stopped here on a last minute decision to grab supper for my family. I purchased the Bossman’s feast. This was enough food for my family of 5 to have to 2 meals. I have 2 teenagers and we had 2 meals with some left over. The amount of food was more than generous and it was a fantastic deal!
Now onto the food – it was absolutely the best BBQ I have ever eaten . The meat was cooked to perfection and it was perfectly tender . The sides were also simply amazing.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Go get some BBQ from Bossman’s – they are very friendly and very welcoming – easily the best BBQ I’ve had.
We will definitely be back!

The food is great. Just get your sauce on the side & youll see that….. the meat is seasoned to the bone… & THEN there’s the sauce; that is only there to COMPLIMENT the meat… NOT DROWN IT! AND their prices are STILL reasonable!

Absolutely delicious barbecue from the sweetest people ever! The sauce and the smoked meat on the pork sandwich, the sides (we shared Mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad)…every bite hit the spot on a road trip through FL!! Def recommend stopping here for good eats!

Hubby and I tried this food truck… Our first food truck! Boss lady who took our order was so nice and sweet. Did not feel rushed at all trying to decide what we wanted to eat. Hubby got chopped pork sandwich with beans and potato salad. Beans had a unique flavor… I can’t quite place it, but they tasted great! Potato salad was perfect. His sandwich was excellent! I got a sausage sandwich. The sausage very long compared to the hotdog roll that it was put on. Got peppers and onions with it. I didn’t mind the size difference! Tasted great!
There is no indoor seating. We ate out a picnic table. It was nice to be outside on such a lovely day.

What a surprise! Fantastic food, wonderful people, and a true down home experience. Mr. and Mrs. Jones take great pride in their food and service. They offer huge portions, especially for the incredibly low prices. All the meats we tried, including the ribs, chicken and sausage were outstanding. Their attention to their food shows their integrity and their love for their customers and their mission. The Boss Lady learned our names simply to make us feel at home, and the Bossman took the time to answer our questions as to how he had perfected each and every one of their side dishes–to me the sign of a great pit boss. We have enjoyed bbq in many places from TX to KC and from Memphis to the Carolinas, and the Bossman’s ranks up there with the best.

I had a lunch here yesterday for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. It’s like they put a little bit of magic in each thing they cook. The ribs were tender, potato salad was creamy and fresh, and the baked beans were like eating candy. The highlight are the owners. So incredibly kind. I can’t wait to go back and try more items from their menu.

I’m a big critic when it comes to my BBQ.. when I say that this is the best bbq in Tallahassee I stand on that. Ribs tender, chicken perfect, sauce perfect, Mac n cheese and baked beans are on point. And not to mention the frozen strawberry lemonade! They are so nice and polite it doesn’t get any better than this. I only go to them now

I was in Tallahassee for an hour and found these really nice folks right around the corner. I had a rib and chicken dinner that was very good. The ribs were the highlight. They were tender, smokey, and covered in a unique bbq sauce that I would describe as a vinegar or mustard based sauce combined with a sweet spicy one. The service was excellent and the people were so friendly. They threw in a free peach cobbler that was made in house and was excellent. I did not give the food 5 stars because the sides were not as good as the meat. The baked beans were tasty but we’re incredibly sweet. When I opened the lid I was hit with the smell of brown sugar and maple syrup and was just too sweet for my tastes. The green beans had great flavor but were super salty. Everything else 5 stars!
