Food was excellent! Mac and cheese just like my Gma used to make. Portion size was good, $8 for fried fish, 2 sides, and choice of bread. Cash only, though. It’s probably better if you call your order in but still be prepared to wait. No inside dining today, tables were available to wait at. DON’T expect anything fancy… It’s a hole in the wall type of place but the food is good, greasy, and phenomenal for an indulgence.

This place doesn’t open until 11:30 AM. I arrived at 10:30 because I don’t live in the area and really wanted to try this restaurant and support my people. After waiting an hour for them to open, they opened the doors 10 minutes after they were suppose to. Once inside they acted as though they didn’t want my business by the customer service they gave me. Didn’t want to speak, I had to speak first. Once I placed my order, they only accept cash…A big part of my day completely wasted and for what, trying to support my people.

Husband and I ordered 2 bbq chicken dinners macaroni and cheese green beans and baked beans sweet tea & sweet potato pie. Everything was very tasty! Mac & cheese was a little cold but nothing the microwave can’t fix! Small spot but the food was great. Will def be back

The finest BBQ I believe I’ve ever had , the sauce was incredible , perfect hush puppies best slaw real mac and cheese I can go on. Everyone was real nice and the service was quick. I have saved the directions back to there on my phone as I hope to get back there as often as possible. I can’t wait to try the ribs next time
