So we ordered in and let me tell you. The Mac, rice, yams and baked beans were bomb. My wife said the spaghetti taste like her and her mom made it together which is a great memory. Fish was crunchy and soft inside. The Ribs fell off the bone and taste amazing. Peach cobbler was 3 out of a 5, not nasty but needs more nutmeg & cinnamon . We plan on ordering here again. It’s hard finding good soul food but they are now added to our list.

Finally a down home, finger licking,jaw smacking, eatery. Food is always consistently on point .
I really like the cozy atmosphere inside.
The young lady that took my order was so nice and polite.
The portions are worth the money.
Catfish was not greasy and very flavorful.
The meat was tender and seasoned to a perfect balance.

Food really had me questioning my life choices.. like why haven’t I been eating here every day? The catfish was crispy yet juicy, the wings were so good, and the yams and cabbage? Therapy on a plate.
The spot was clean, the portions were generous, and I left full, satisfied, and low-key ready for a nap. Definitely a must-try.

The vibe in here is old school music, very laid back but kinda small. We were here by 1230pm to find out oxtails won’t be available til 130pm…. ok we’ll be back. Upon returning oxtails were ready so we order that, rib plate and combo fish and wing plate. Again someone HYPED these oxtails and they were really TRAGIC TRASH. No real seasoning, gravy bland, served on clumps of mushy rice. DISAPPOINTING waste of money. Also to this establishment had any faith in the taste of its food, they wouldn’t put that unnecessary garnish on top of every DANG THING

The vibe was definitely it for me. As soon as I drove up, a gentleman handed me the menu, which set the tone right away. What stood out even more was the fact that the owner was right there, personally making sure the ribs and everything else were on point—you don’t see that often. The team was incredibly friendly, which was a huge plus. The cashier was such a sweet girl, and I jokingly call her “Upsell” because I came for one thing and left with just enough extras—she was that good!
For about $30 plus tip, it was absolutely worth it. Now, the food—fire. The ribs were perfectly cooked, falling right off the bone. The chicken was seasoned just right, and they give you a generous portion. The macaroni and cheese and the greens were amazing—honestly, the best I’ve had in a long time. The yams tasted just like grandma made them, and the peach cobbler was the perfect finish.
Everything was delicious, and I promise—I’ll be back.

Honestly the best bbq place I have tried in Las Vegas, and I mean homemade taste. Yams, out of this world delicious. I only need some brisket and corn bread, but is not on the menu. Is ok though, food is amazing. Bbq sauce . BTW, we had bbq ribs, yam and mac and cheese and a oxtail and rice plate.

My husband and I enjoyed coming to Boss Daddy’s.
My husband had the catfish and I had the wings. The food came out hot. The batter on the catfish and wings were delicious. We definitely loved the relaxing atmosphere, the customer service was on point and they always made sure that we didn’t need anything and that everything was good.
The owner was very friendly, came out to greet us along with the staff. We will definitely be coming back to try the other items on their menu.

1st timer and the food was amazing. Fresh, seasoned and hot. We ate there and the music was chill and it was empty. The wait time was just because they cooked everything fresh. Now to the ratings…catfish and fries 8/10…shrimp and fries…7.5/10…beef tacos 8.5/10…hotlink and bun 9.5/10 (the only reason not a 10, I like my link split down the middle and cooked a little longer). Them steak fries were soooo seasoned and fresh. I will definitely be back because I have to try the taco burger, Mac and cheese, yams and that hot link again…lol…hopefully it’s better so I can update this score to a 5 star.

I have to be honest! I was judging this place real hard after walking in and not seeing no color folks in the front, lol. I apologize y’all! Let me tell you babyyy, I’m so hard to please and y’all did your big one. I ordered the 2 combo plate with ribs, catfish, and Mac n cheese with yams for my sides. Everything was delicious! Trust me! I know good food. Vegas doesn’t have to many soul food places I revisit but I for sure will be back 🙂

Food is awesome. It’s just that I’ve never been in a restaurant with a huge AC making enormous noise inside lol They made us pay the bill first when we ordered the food, so I bet the majority of their clientele take out anyway, so they don’t care as long as the food is good. I saw another couple eating there, even closer to the AC than me and I they didn’t seem bothered lol It was annoying me the hell out of it but at least the food was great, especially the French fries! I don’t know what kind of Cajun seasoning they used but it was so good! Shout out to the chef thanking us for coming there when he saw us leaving!
