Loved everything about our experience here! Worth the drive to Walnut Springs. The queso and salsa were great starters. Queso was creamy and hot, and the salsa had just the right kick. We ordered the fajitas parrilladas, and they did not disappoint. Plenty of food for two (we even had some leftovers to take home). The jalapeño cheese sausage and beef were exceptional. The shrimp and chicken were cooked just right, and the onions & peppers were tender and full of flavor. Our fabulous server, Ivanna, suggested the tres leches for dessert, and it was aaaahhhhmazing. The fresh whipped cream was not too sweet, and it paired perfectly with the rich cake and caramel swirl.
The simplicity of the decor made for a more upscale dining feel while the hospitality of the staff made us feel like long-lost friends. We will definitely take another road trip to Walnut Springs just to try more of the menu.

Order the meat platter for two, you will have plenty of gluten-free goodness to go home afterwards. Only the shrimp were overcooked, the rest was perfected.

When in this little town of Walnut Springs, this is THE best place in the whole county to catch great TexMex. Strong margs too (this would be a good thing)!

Me and my wife went since Graham Elliot from Master Chef was there doing a book promo. Was a little disappointed that he wasn’t cooking like we thought, but what little disappointment I had was quickly eliminated once I tried their food. Its hard to find good Tex Mex in this region of Texas, but they nailed it! We sat in the bar area and it was awesome. Great classic rock music playing and college football on the TV.
I had the beef fajitas and wife had the fish tacos. Both were excellent! Beef was very tender and seasoned well, tortillas were fresh, and beans and rice were equally as good. Also came with pico, sour cream, and guacamole. Tried the fish from my wife’s meal and it was just as great. We also had their house frozen margaritas and you could tell they use quality ingredients and no crappy cheap mixer. We also had an order of their queso which we also loved.
The staff were all awesome as well. From being greeted upon entry and when we were leaving to our waitress who couldn’t have done a better job. 5 stars! Will make the 30 minute drive to return!

Pleasant surprise in a small town. I’m from a small town and was not expecting this. The facility is clean and well appointed. The service is very personal. And best of all, the food is terrific. I highly recommend the fish tacos, and my wife said the taco salad is extraordinary.

This is a nice clean country type atmosphere. Small town and friendly staff. I had a taco salad and my wife had chicken enchiladas. Very tasty and generous proportions. Our waitress was very good. Sweet and funny young woman named Cambree. She did an excellent job. We will definitely be back.

The ribeye carne asada was excellent! I love how the chef comes out and checks on the food that was to served to you. Very nice. My only gripe, YOU’RE IN TEXAS MR. WOLF. GET SOME DANG SALSA THAT DOESN’T TASTE LIKE PACE PICANTE LEFT OVER FROM THE 90’S. But the queso was killer!! Loved it.
