We enjoyed a delicious meal – fresh hummus and warm pita, lamb kabob and grilled vegetables. All was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The salads were fresh. Very nice service, too!

The service was wonderful, kind, friendly and quick. The food was authentically delicious. I could eat here weekly.

Two of us shared the mixed grill platter. Plenty of food. We started with the eggplant salad, which was delicious. Our friends had the hummus.

It’s nice that it’s BYOB.

Thank you chef!

Super sweet place, very nice and responsive staff .. would have loved some form of substitution for the things that made the vegan versions of items vegan, instead of them just lacking the meat/non-vegan items. For instance, the imam biyildi was offered without butter in the rice, but still served with yogurt sauce. Would have been great with hummus or tahini instead of the yogurt sauce! And soy crumbles/TVP would be a great addition to bulk it up instead of simply removing the protein all together. Also would recommend another form of grilling or toasting pitas, they were a little more charred flavored than I’ve had pita before. Maybe this is a cultural thing, not sure. Overall loved it though!

It was okay. I had the eggplant stuffed with lamb, and they also brought out pita and hummus since my food was taking a while. The overall flavors could’ve been stronger but it wasn’t bad.

The place has a nice collection of Turkish lamps that set the mood. The service was very nice and friendly. And the food was absolutely delicious! The only thing is, I wish we got a little more bread. Other than that, the place is a must try for authentic Turkish flavors

Yup, the food was wonderfully delicious. Get the Haydari (yogurt dish) with the lamb chops. The Bosphorus salad was my favorite, so colorful and delicious. All the meats on the lamb platter so tasty and easy to devour. The Turkish coffee was fun, so cute, but half mud was not well cared for here. The Kazandibi milk pudding dessert tastes just like roasted marshmallows s’mores- delicious!! I’ve never had better homeade baklava 🙂

We got Adana and Kotfe kabob. food was fresh and very delicious. service was very good. My only small suggestion would be to have Turkish music on to improve the vibe.

Delicious food made from fresh ingredients.
The service was excellent. The owner & his wife are warm and genuinely enjoy sharing their dishes with customers.
This is the opposite of franchise food. Whole foods, homemade served by people who focus entirely on customers enjoying the food in a cozy and comfortable environment.
A trip to a local restaurant in Turkey without leaving Pittsburgh.
Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

If you’re choosing between eating somewhere else and Bosphorus, pick Bosphorus! Their Bakhlava was the best I’ve ever had, they treated us with tea on the house and everything was natural, home made and absolutely delicious! The restaurant is BYOB so we enjoyed a red blend with all the delicious meat and foods. 10/10!

I first visited this restaurant back in 2016 during my trip to Pittsburgh, and it left a great impression. Today, I decided to return with friends — and it didn’t disappoint. A quiet, cozy atmosphere combined with delicious Mediterranean cuisine made our evening truly memorable. Highly recommend!
