Borrellis is easily one of the best Italian restaurants around. From the moment you walk in you can feel the warm, authentic atmosphere that real family-run Italian places are known for.
The food is exceptional. The steaks are cooked perfectly, the pastas are rich and full of flavour, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. Dishes like the seafood hotpot, risottos and traditional pasta options really stand out. The portions are generous and the quality of ingredients is obvious.
What truly makes Borrellis special though is the owners, Sami and Marcia. You can genuinely see that they have put their heart and soul into the restaurant. They care about the customers, the food and the experience, and that passion shows in every detail.
Great food, welcoming service and a proper family restaurant atmosphere.
Highly recommend Borrellis to anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back.

Sam was amazing – her attention to detail and customer service was exceptional. She noticed it was my friends birthday and was kind enough to prepare a birthday dessert without us prompting her Gnocchi pesto was so delicious!!

Love love love this place!! Couldn’t recommend it enough, Sam was the best constantly going above and beyond for our table. Atmosphere definitely set the vibes for our dinner and all the staff were so polite and attentive. If you’re looking for amazing authentic Italian food full of flavours you have to come here. Right away, the food was impressive. The risotto, in particular, was outstanding—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The pasta was cooked beautifully, and the garlic bread had just the right crunch and buttery goodness.
To finish, we ordered cappuccino’s, which was just as enjoyable as the meal—smooth, well-brewed, and a great way to round out the evening.

My partner and I came here for a Valentine’s Day dinner, and it’s always such a wonderful experience at Borelli’s Restaurant. We ordered from the special Valentine’s Day menu, which offered many options for each course, and everything we chose was absolutely delicious, with very generous portions. While it is a bit pricier than other restaurants, the outstanding service, exceptional food, and atmosphere make it well worth it. The nostalgic decor beautifully ties the whole experience together, making every visit feel warm, special, and truly memorable.

Had Valentine’s Day at Borrelli’s and it was such a great experience. The service was warm and attentive, but the food was the real standout. The tiramisu is definitely up there with my all-time favourites. The salmon risotto had the perfect sauce consistency, creamy without being too heavy. And the absolute highlight? The 4 cheese gnocchi. I’m usually not even a gnocchi fan, but this one completely converted me.

Where do I begin! I’m not the type to write reviews but my experience at Borrellis was amazing, I just had to! The food was soooo good, great portions and served nice and fresh. The service was wonderful, Sam and her staff looked after us and went above and beyond to ensure everything was well. Definitely recommend this place and I will be back again!

Absolutely amazing experience! Food was delicious. Restaurant was busy lucky we reserved a table, then we saw a whole seperate function room at the back, the venue looks so small from the outside but it’s pretty big.
We got a mixture of recommendations from the staff and they all had a different twist. The salmon risotto was perfect balance of smoked salmon then the tangyness of the capers, cream and fresh rocket leaves on top. The spaghetti marinara wow, the sauce we couldn’t get enough we ordered extra bread on the side just to dip into it. The lamb shanks, so tender and the wine sauce was beautiful.
The tiramisu and creme brulee at the end were the best we have ever had! I think I would just come back for them regardless.
Overall experience, we had a lovely time, all my guests were happy with the food, service and price was worth it considering the size of the dishes they sent to us. 1-2 people can share 1 dish. The atmosphere, loud and dim lights just took us back to Europe. Will definitely recommend.
