Terrible.
Brisket was trimmed of the fat before cooked and was super dry. No good bark or flavor. There are many bbq sauce options to help, but you only get two small 1oz cups.
Chicken was burnt onto the skin. Wings and drumsticks were inedible.
Sprouts were deep fried crispy and good.
Slaw is finely diced and good.
Apple cobbler tasked like a spoonful of straight burnt cinnamon.

The brisket was pretty good but feel it didn’t really have the Smokey flavor I was hoping for. The Brussel sprouts could have been cooked slightly less as well. Overall the food was good and it’s worth going back.

I came to Gettysburg on 2/15/26 in hopes of eating good bbq. I had researched this place for weeks before we made the trip. Google showed the restaurant to be open and the hours to be 11am to 10pm. My family and I came for dinner at 6:30 pm just to find out that they are closed for the “season”. Google and the website for this restaurant were very misleading. I hope someone updates this imeadiatly and shows that it is closed until further notice so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

We enjoyed outdoor seating at Borough BBQ on a beautiful day. We had the gyro and cod and fries. Both meals were amazing and our drinks were refreshing. The staff were nice and the atmosphere was great, considering how busy they were.

The food is excellent. The sauces are great. The portions vs price wasn’t so great. The picture of the brisket was $18 for 6 slices. The ribs were $16 for 4 pieces. The pizza is a personal size and it was $19. The plates do not come with any sides for these prices. This small bowl of Mac n cheese was $7. They do have an EXTENSIVE list of alcohol they offer (but we aren’t drinkers). Overall, wonderful food. Just not enough. The parking wasn’t the best (but I do understand the location).

First time and it won’t be my last. Delicious meats and sides and I need to try them all. Today I had the beef brisket sandwich, cornbread, onion rings,BBQ wings and fried green tomatoes. Sandwich, wings and cornbread was spot on. Very tasty. The tomatoes and onion rings were lacking flavor though still good and hot. Atmosphere is awesome and the waitress Sasha was great. Very attentive and helpful with questions. Went for a late lunch at 3pm and was the only ones there. Looks like a great place for a drink and pizza with Upper Crust right beside them. I would recommend this place to any meat lover.Update 9-22-23 Diner at 6pm and there was no wait. Server was amazing. Food was delicious and really good portions.

Six friends and I went for dinner on Saturday. We arrived sounds 5pm and it wasn’t very busy yet. Took around 10-15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. The service remained pretty awful throughout the meal. Servers were friendly enough, just not very good. The food wasn’t very good, but ok. My buddy and I shared the brisket and a rack of ribs. I wasn’t expecting amazing brisket in Pennsylvania, but this reminded me of what they used to serve us in the dining facilities at the bases in Afghanistan. The ribs were overcooked and kind of dry, but ok overall. Overall, I would not recommend this place unfortunately.

We are from outside Philadelphia and were here to see the battlefield. We found this place by accident as they were in the soft opening. Because of this we were able to order most of the menu. I have to say it was stellar as was the chef and the bar manager. The food was good, well priced for the quantity and the staff were kind enough to get us extra sauce so we could try more flavors with our brisket. We will definitely return next time we stay in town!

Got the most amazing ribs. Brought leftovers to my dad and for someone who’s not one to try new things, he devoured them. Super tender, cooked well, and the ideal amount of spice and sweet to the sauce.

Nice place and service was good but food was ok. Ordered the cheese pizza from next door Upper Crust and it was just ok. On a Pizza scale of 1-10 it was a 6.7. Sauce was blah light on the cheese and the crust was floppy. Ordered the wings with peach bourbon sauce and that was good. Asked the food runner for parmesan cheese for the pizza and she said I’ll be right back and never returned. No cheese for you!! Wouldn’t make a special trip to go there but would try it again.
