We’ve been won over thoroughly! We waited somewhat impatiently for this to open for YEARS and it was worth the wait. The attention to detail is apparent from the decor, to the spices and flavors, and even down to the perfectly sized takeout containers that fit like a glove into the reusable bags. Our family came for lunch on a Monday, and the service was top notch, attentive and caring.
We ordered the mezza platter with four dips and especially loved the eggplant and hummus. We also chose the felafel platter, chicken shawarma platter and the chicken kabob platter. Each were nicely spiced, and perfectly cooked—especially the chicken which was moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of char.
They were accommodating to nut allergies (only in the baked goods) and the counter staff was incredibly generous and helpful. This location has had a few failed restaurants…Let’s keep this restaurant open—it’s a gem!

I had the opportunity to try Boro Kabob, a newly opened halal restaurant in Ellicott City, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place has a beautiful lounge-style setup with a few high tables near the entrance—very clean, modern, and the interior décor is quite catchy.
For the family, I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Wrap and the Lamb Wrap. Both were excellent! What I loved most is that the food wasn’t overly spicy, yet still had all the authentic Mediterranean flavors. The white sauce and fries served with the wraps were delicious as well.
I also have to mention their takeaway bag—colorful, trendy, and really adds to the overall experience. Small details like that make a big impression.
Next time, I definitely want to dine in and enjoy the full experience at the restaurant.
Highly recommend giving Boro Kabob a try!

Oh my goodness- we just had the most flavorful, filling, wonderful dinner here with friends! Such big portions and great for sharing and making your own combinations of meats, sauces, rice, etc. Every single thing we ate was 10/10 and the service was amazing- so attentive, kind, and friendly. Seriously, what a gem of a place! I didn’t even take pictures of the food because I was too busy happily eating!

10/10, no notes! Everything we tried on the menu from the mirzaghasemi, to bandari, to kabobs to ghorme sabzi was all sooo good (and I’m Persian so I came with high expectations!!). Highly recommend! Raha was such a sweetheart and made the experience 1000 times better. We’ll be back soon!

We ordered takeout and it was excellent! We had the tandoori chicken kebab and the chicken kebab. Both were juicy, hot, and beautifully seasoned, but I liked the chicken kebab best. Ordered a side of fried pita chips and they were fantastic. The rice was fluffy and tender and the salads were tasty and fresh. It was definitely enough for two dinners so we will enjoy the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Friendly service and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was pleasant. Will definitely be back!

They have excellent lunch specials, especially the kebabs. We ordered three items: beef kubideh kebab, chicken kebab, and a lamb gyro. We asked for the kebabs well done, and to our surprise they were still incredibly soft, juicy, and full of flavor. The food quality was really, really good. My wife, my son, and I all loved the kebabs.
We also tried the appetizers, including baba ganoush, hummus, and roasted eggplant. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the roasted eggplant was especially amazing.
If you go during lunchtime, the lunch specials are absolutely worth it. Very generous and tasty. Highly recommended. Also, do not miss their Persian tea. We loved it and it was the perfect way to finish the meal.

After waiting oh so long for the location to open, I was not at all disappointed. The Lamb Gyro platter (rice and salad) was delicious.
The missing star from service was because the fork was a bit weird on my sensory issues and the metal plate scraped.
This is going to be a frequent takeout location now!

Ordered the chicken pita sandwich for takeout and it was amazing! Portion size was huge with tons of meat. Flavor was great, with a ton of different ingredients that all blended very well (marinated diced chicken with lettuce, tomato, Persian pickles, parsley, onions, sumac, and garlic sauce). Also comes with option for an additional spicy sauce out of three different options. I got the roasted pepper sauce, which was great, and I’m planning to try it with the green sauce or the honey sriracha sauce next time.
Overall, the food was great quality and value, and I’ll definitely be coming back!
