I recently had the pleasure of visiting Born and Bred to celebrate my birthday (1-28), and it was the perfect choice. We were lucky enough to walk right in without a wait, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. For my meal, I enjoyed a fantastic steak sandwich, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I also tried one of their mixed cocktails, which was expertly crafted and absolutely excellent. To top off a wonderful evening, the staff brought out a complimentary slice of key lime pie for my birthday. It was a delicious and thoughtful surprise, and the perfect end to a great dinner. Born and Bred is definitely a place I’d recommend for a special occasion or just a fantastic meal with amazing service.

Super friendly and comfortable place in downtown Chandler. Large outdoor area that was super comfortable with great views of the local area. This place would be amazing to hang out at after dark during the holidays. Great menu with multiple gluten free options. The drink menu had some incredible options from wine to cold brew mixes. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly.

It was a cute restaurant but the food was meh. It took well over an hour to get our food after we ordered and after all that waiting my son’s steak was overdone and my husband was served the wrong hamburger. In all fairness we didn’t say anything because at that point we had been there for close to 90 minutes and were just hungry. Our server was nice when we saw her and the wine was good. Wasn’t worth the wait or the price. Would not recommend.

This was our first time at Born and Bred. We had a fantastic dinner at the bar area. Beautiful view as the sun set. Very attentive and kind bartender, Matt, was our server. We ordered the short ribs and roasted chicken. Both were delicious! We will definitely be back.

The best adult happy meal I have had in years. You can actually taste the onions on the bun. Matt and Didi were kind to the customers and commiserated with the temperatures, while prepping for the evening rush in downtown Chandler. Next time I would like to try the sea food starters, but not in weather past 110F.

I really hate to only give 2 stars for service because our waitress was great. We went for brunch on Saturday 2/14 and while there was no wait to be seated or to take our order it took our food and hour to get to our table. The food was not good, my wife’s pancakes had an odd taste and had burn marks from the grill. My chicken Ceasar wrap wasn’t good at all and my sisters chimichanga was over cooked and extra crunchy. Thankfully the manager removed the food from our bill without question.

Food was bad. We ordered the chilaquiles and the chips were not only stale, they were mush! They put all the salsa on the bottom and dumped the rest on top. The short rib was tasteless, zero seasoning. Our son ordered a burrito, and we specifically asked if the potatoes inside were tater tot’s and server said no, and that’s exactly what was in there. 90% potato and it was flavorless. Server didn’t come to ask how we were doing until we were almost done. Mind you the restaurant was empty. Our daughter ordered French toast that was supposed to have white chocolate and it was nowhere to be found. Definitely never coming back, waste of money when each dish is almost $20. Wish I listened to the other reviews

I took my daughter here for birthday brunch, and I’m so glad we went! The food was delicious, loaded tater tots, breakfast sandwich, pancake. All were amazing. Abi, our server, was exceptional with personality plus. I will definitely go back as often as I can.

It’s a fine place. Clean, pleasant environment. The food was disappointing.
Decent enough, but not enough that I’d go back.
$22 for a half dozen oysters and most of them barely had anything to them. Only 4 pieces of shrimp on the Cajun pasta, tails still on.

Ambiance: Stepping into Born & Bred felt very cozy; rustic decor set the restaurant for a casual yet charming atmosphere. Blue Jazz music played softly in the background, and the aroma of grilling meat filled the air.
Service: Our server, Kylie S, was very cute, friendly and attentive. She answered our questions thoroughly and made helpful recommendations. the wait time for food was in a good templo, especially considering the restaurant was quite busy today (Valentine’s Day).
Food: started with and the Oysters, grilled Brussels Spouts was fresh and vibran, touched with very balanced dressing. The Short Rib was cooked to a perfect tender, juicy and flavorful. The accompanying mashed potatoes were creamy and rich, Other main courses we ordered like Scallops & Risotto and Swordfish were hearty and comforting dishes.
Drinks: The selection of cocktails was impressive, and our server helped us choose one that paired well with our meals.
Price: The prices were on the reasonable end for a casual & fine dining experience
Overall: The Bird & Bred offers good dishes charming atmosphere and friendly service. And we are happy with the complimentary white wine the restaurant GM offered today.
