Tasty bakery. Good coffee and pastries while waiting for your car to get fixed next door.

So good! Bread is just like Puerto Rico. I’ve been searching everywhere and finally found a good place with bread and sweets

This place has the best puertoriquen budding. Will definitely be back in the near future. They have a great staff and cuban sandwich.

Super little Puerto Rican Bakery in Newark. The most delicious coffee, bread, and typical Puerto Rican pastries at this spot. Do yourself a favor and get there quick. Very friendly service, clean bathrooms, and a very steady business there so you know it’s the spot to be.

Sandwiches were sad it was all bread lettuce and tomatoes like one slice of ham and it didnt even taste good. The empanadillas also the same all crust and barely any meat. Only good thing I had was the soda.

This place has a lot of good puerto rican treats, their sandwhiches are great as is their empanadillas. My biggest issue is ANY time we get Quesitos they always cheap out on the filling. There was like 3 drops of cheese in the ones from the other day. We get the large ones, and small ones and every single time they heavily skimp out on the cheese…. As the only bakery that I am aware that sells them it is extremely frustrating as we have been regulars for years.

I live in Jersey City, NJ and was excited to order a birthday cake for my husband, who’s parents, before they retired to Puerto Rico would order cakes from Valencia, all Valencia locations are in New York.

Hard to find pan sobao in the states, but this place makes a pretty good version of it. Can’t wait to come back and try all of the pastries that they have!
