I’ve been on a venture to try as many taco spots around NE Ohio and decided to stop in Boriken Joe’s finally. Wish I would have sooner. The street tacos were on point! Definitely hit the spot. The meat was very flavorful. And the slice of cake was sooo good! Very lovely establishment, I loved the decor and the vibe. If your in the area I highly recommend!

The food here was so amazingly delicious. The meat was so juicy and there were so many flavors in the burrito and it was just the best burrito I’ve ever eaten. Definitely a good amount of food for the money, and it’s good quality and fresh so it keeps you full without making you feel sick. The atmosphere here is awesome and you just feel comfortable. Overall it was amazing and I would definitely come back many times.

I have been seeing posts on Facebook and wanted to give it a try. So today, while I was in Avon, Ohio doing some shopping I stopped in for lunch. They are located in the French Creek Centre and I parked directly behind the restaurant and walked around to the front door. When I walked in the door the restaurant had a very laid-back vibe, Boriken Joe was behind the counter taking my order. He answered all my questions about the menu. I ended up ordering the #1 Taco Box. Which let me choose from 4 different varieties of authentic street tacos. I chose to order the Chicken G Taco, Lil Pig Taco, and Boriken Beef taco. The box came with a side of nacho chips and a drink. I wasn’t in a rush so I chose to dine in. While I was in the restaurant a customer had come in to place an order for a burrito, he had just been there the day before. If that doesn’t tell you how great the food is here I don’t know what does. I loved every single taco I had. The Boriken Beef had an amazing flavor profile. The tacos were very fresh. I can’t wait to go back and try a Boriken Burrito! I highly recommend it. Also, if you get a chance follow their Facebook page as they post some great pictures of their food!

Nice little taco shop. They have traditional ground beef, shredded beef, shredded chicken, and pork carnitas. Everything was seasoned nicely except for the shredded beef, which he explains he wanted the meat to speak for itself or something like that. It was kinda bland. I would say the carnitas were the best. with carnitas a little hard fry on them to crisp them up would make them be awesome. The rice and beans were okay. They were pipping hot. They make burritos as well. I’d go back again, unfortunately, they’re not open in the evenings for dinner. Latest is 6pm. Maybe try swinging by around 5 before they close to grab dinner some time.

I so badly wanted to like this place, so I’m sad to give them a bad review. I’ve seen lots of buzz online, so I was really hopeful. I came in at lunch time on a Saturday, and the place was completely dead. Maybe that’s because the shopping center its in is half abandoned, and it wasn’t clear where to park. Their hours are also very limited. I tried coming here 3 separate times, but they were closed more than they were open.

Yummy tacos! Great shredded beef and ground beef! My only feedback would be to use fresh avocado and fresh made chips.

Food was awsome! Very laid back atmosphere i gor to talked to the owner he had me try some homemade hot sause that was outstanding. Definitely will be back again.
