This is a new restaurant in Franklin. Due to adopting the same name as a previously closed food establishment some of the additional information may be inaccurate. Please bare with us as we get the main dinning area with connected patio ready. Everything will be served on the bar side as a soft opening until the repairs are made.

The new Borderline Grill is terrific. The menu is simple and the options were surprisingly tasty. I was amazed that the fish and chips were among the best I’ve ever had — and with tots for the chips, it was great. My wife had the Autumn salad with their special house sauce and it was delicious too. Each meal was $10 and not only delicious, but plenty of food. The dining room has comfy seats and the lighting is nice and comfortable too. Come check out the new place. We live in Franklin, but are not associated with the restaurant 🙂

Borderline Grill formerly was lovely. We went several times this summer and loved it.
We went again last Friday (Sept 6 2024) and immediately you could tell something had changed. The music was heavy metal (just not what I want while I eat) and we were not allowed to enter the dining room, so we sat in the bar. After waiting a while, with no server visits, we just decided to ask for our food to go. We said to the server, “This was a very different experience than the last two times we came.”
She suddenly launched into this range-filled fit-like tantrum about change. She told us also that there was new management. She then said, “Get out of my restaurant and never come back.”
What in the world?? It was so bizarre to see this woman absolutely come apart.
After we rang up, she said “WHY are you still standing here?”
We reminded her we hadn’t gotten our food yet.
We didn’t get our sauces (the least of our problems).
We will gladly “never come back.”

My service with Autumn was amazing!! She knew her stuff!! The online menu is NOT correct!! I came for the Malibu chicken and the menu is completely different than what I saw online!! Autumn offered great suggestions for my meal and made it right without hesitation!! Please update your online menu because it is false advertising!!!

I’m going to give 2 stars only for the friendly staff. I’ve put up with subpar service but like stopping in to talk with the staff who I’ve been really friendly with. The grill is horribly managed. Really since they reopened in June of 24. But I eat and drink daily after work until the manager Karen jumped me while I was talking about my day to the server. Even after the server said everything is fine over and over again. I’m Autistic and don’t deal with stress well and half way through my burger my stomach just got into knots. I do not recommend this establishment if you’re just interested in drinking or eating. Out of stock quite a bit on beer, I did recommend them a while ago to 2 co workers and both left and told me the same thing, that after not even a hello after a 25 minute wait, they left and will never return. Oh, and terrible cell service and NO guest WiFi. So leave your phones at home.

Ordered the cheeseburger which was a thin slice of hamburger. Bun and toppings were enormous and you can’t taste any meat. It was 92 degrees outside and this place did not have any air circulation or air conditioner running. I’m surprised this restaurant is still open and not closed permanently. I Won’t be back.

Took my family here the other day and everyone loved their food. It had been awhile since we had stopped here. The burgers are huge and cooked perfectly. Our service was quick and the staff was very friendly. We will be making this a regular destination for dinner! I’ve been told there is new management and I could tell they had made a bunch of improvements.

This place now has breakfast and it is fantastic! I don’t think anyone knows yet, so it is dead during breakfast time. I hope it picks up, this is a great place. I look forward to seeing what the new owners do with it. I ordered the french toast, and it was yummy. I am hoping that they add prime rib back to the menu.

It’s yum! The waitress Autumn was the sweetest. The only complaint I have is that the online menu is NOT right. I came for one thing and it wasn’t there. Other than that it’s delicious!
