Very friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Bar with two very big screens, plus an extra to the side for restaurant viewing, and about seven 4+ seaters tables. The specials board added great eats and drinks options to their classic menu. I got a Tennessee Whiskey Burger from the specials with a coleslaw. Omg the burger was so good, temperature as requested. The coleslaw was delicious, very well seasoned, fresh and crunchy. I visited for a late lunch on Sunday, and there was no wait and plenty of seating. I plan to return again, probably on a Thursday when they have raw oysters for $1.

MUST TRY! Had the tastiest meal at Bootleg while day tripping to Westport. The staff was so friendly and the smoked meat was incredible. The cocktails were also so delicious. A total gem finding this quality BBQ on the South Shore. If you’re hungry after a beach day at Horseneck, come here and you will not be disappointed. Cant wait to come back!

Stopped by Bootleg BBQ for a return trip. Still a Cozy environment and really nice staff. Good service. Started off with a Shiner Bock again. Went with their bacon burger special and it was fantastic. One of the best I’ve had in awhile. Hand cut fries were excellent as well. Previously have sampled other items. Flying pig cider was a little too dry for me. The fried pickles were good. The last bacon cheese burger I had was very good. As were the fries. Mack and cheese was good. Not overly impressed with the Cole slaw or corn bread from my 1st trip. Had high hopes for the baby back ribs. Definitely come dry and have a natural smoke flavor. Felt that the BBQ sauce was some what necessary. Place was busy, visited during peak weekend hours. Place isn’t huge so the wait was over an hour. We got lucky and grabbed a seat at the bar to save time. Always a bonus when you have ribs and can end with a wet napkin. I wish them continued luck.

Good price, good vibes, good service in this out of the way place. Chef knew how to cook and prepare the burger. Fries have a TAD bit more salt than usual. Service was great, building is pretty small for seating wise.

I think their food (especially the ribs)would be great if it was served hot and juicy! They tend to leave it out after barbecuing which maybe is a flavor thing as it marinates in itself but it’s just above room temperature! Especially the last two times that I went and I really don’t want to keep saying take it back and rewarm it! If it was hot and juicy I’d give it a five star rating! But I strongly believe in second chances so I’m going to give it another shot shortly!

You walk into a friendly atmosphere and are quickly greeted and seated at your table. There are three large screens to watch sports on. The service is great and the food is better. I ordered the half rack of ribs dinner with cornbread and coleslaw plus baked beans. My wife ordered the smash burger with fries. I got to munch on 7 bones of dry rub ribs that were tasty and tender. The coleslaw was crispy and delicious with the right amount of dressing. The baked beans were sweet, with great taste. My wife loved her smash burger and said it was the best. The local fries were tasty. I added the cranberry margarita which was excellent. We had a great dining experience and are glad we choose Bootleg BBQ for dinner tonight.

What a great spot. We were going to the back eddy and they were closed for the season so we googled a spot and came here. How lucky we were the back eddy was closed. The spot is awesome, the staff is wonderful and the food was to die for .

Walk in to this place for the first time and you will immediately be made to feel like you are at home. Fred the owner is either talking with one patron or serving another , and every staff member is vigilant to make sure all your needs are being taken care of. the food is impeccable pub grub with an upscale twist that will leave you happy you made the stop. I was so pleased I went back for their new breakfast menu, where I was so pleased to discover that all the items were less then 13$ I had the 8$ breakfast sandwich that came with homefries and a bloody Mary! Thanks again to Fred and all the staff.

What a cute little restaurant. We went for lunch on our way thru town and it was delicious hot and fresh. All of the meat was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend you stop in for a bite to eat!
