In town for a visit and came across this place. Ordered a large pepperoni and sausage. Perfect is the single word I’ll use to describe the pizza. Delicious to the last bite. And yeah I ate the whole thing. If I’m back in town I will surely be visiting again

Wow, what a hidden gem. We live in Mars Hill and spotted this place while driving through. The great Google rating got us to try it out. Great menu selection and prices. $38 for 4 adults and one child. Calzones are delish…extra cheese a must! Chef salad and Philly cheese steak sandwich was also fantastic. Bring your quarters for the arcades. Great decor, very comfortable and family friendly. Convenient location, ample parking, nice dining area. Not very busy for 5pm Thurs. Salad bar looked good. They have a lunch buffet. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. We had an awesome server, she was very friendly and quick on her feet! We will definitely be back…a lot!

Tried them a few times to see if it improved from our first visit. Pizza on the bar was cold so we ordered a fresh pizza and it was not impressive at all. Waitress was not very friendly, ran out of drinks more than once and she was always chit chatting with other workers so it made it difficult to get her attention.

99.5 rating by Mitchell County Health Department. Pretty decent salad bar. Good pies. Excellent blueberry dessert pizza. Very attentive wait staff. Good value.

Friendly, fast, excellent food…for me, the only hitch is that they serve Pepsi products I stead of Coke. 😉 The Pizza crust is dense & chewy. My fave is the BBQ chicken pizza.
I’m not sure what’s going on with the review…it’s been at least a year since my last visit because the quality of the food & ESPECIALLY the service took a turn for the worst. It got really bad. Also, the amenities are incorrect…there is NO fireplace, NO outdoor seating & NO alcohol. There’s never been live music. This is an old Papa’s Pizza in a mostly empty strip mall that has been heavily remodled. They absolutely have plenty of parking, but that won’t make up for rude servers.

Totally delish, and I’m a Chicago girl. Came here after hiking Mount Mitchell, staff was super nice, service was quick, definitely the best food I’ve eaten in the area. Be sure to check them out!

Great place to eat. Only rated it 4 stars because we did the buffet and came in at 1pm. Their buffet ends at 2pm. So when we got there they really did not make or but any fresh pizza out.

Boonies’ lunch buffet is affordable and tasty. Staff is always friendly. They support the local high school, and it is a great place to bring the family.

I don’t do pizza bars, but after a long day of travel this was a welcome stop. The salad bar offered decent variety and the pizza was pretty good. The dessert pizza however was DELICIOUS.
