The cook was very nice and took my criticism and was even so kind as to remake my order . . . It failed again but it wasn’t salty at least the second time, those who know, know you can’t successfully store a cheese burger in a refrigerator and expect good results so I won’t put that one on them.
I ordered a classic double cheeseburger and hubby ordered a double bacon cheeseburger. We’re gluten free, so we ordered them as wraps, but they did say that they have gluten free buns. I loved the well done crispy fries and these tasted as good as they looked. Portions were generous too. Not sure what else they seasoned them with, but they did have the slightest kick.
Our server, who was also the bartender was very attentive. You can order at the counter or sit downstairs for table service.
We’ll definitely be back.
So I guess it’s a mixture of service and serve yourself.
The burger was good. The shoestring fries – not so much.
I am very happy to have a nice place right down the road where i can go get a good burger for a great price!
The time was 8:50pm on Friday and the sign said they close at 10. I noticed the open sign was off but light on so I drove around back. As I turned around, an employee walked out said “oh sorry, we closed early!” They then slammed and locked the door.
I don’t see a world where this place survives, but if you do make it there before the inevitable and 1. Find a time when they are open and 2. Don’t have trash everything else based on other reviews, please let me know.
I am appalled and shocked as a 20 year service industry vet and owner myself by all of this, and am curious why this was opened to begin with being that they clearly do not want to serve anyone? We will likely never know. Cheers.
Edit:upon further review of the sign, I see now that they close
at 9pm on Fridays. While I would admittedly not walk in 10 min before close knowing how frustrating that is to staff (we had 20 people walk in Christmas Eve at 7:50pm despite the sign saying we closed early at 8pm), it is still not an excuse. This is a brand new restaurant turning down first time customers. You went into business to build it and create return guests. This is not the way. I would be incredibly concerned and questing myself as to why I invested in this if this is how you run you run it. My apologies for accusing of closing an hour early vs however long it actually was. Best of luck
