Tucked away spot on the water with a nice porch area and docks. Well-prepared simple sandwiches burgers etc. My first Zwiegle’s white hot with meat sauce. Hand cut chips and fries with season salt. Service was efficient though not personable.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother. She loves your restaurant and has been there several times. The problem is that she is in her 70s and has difficulty walking. She says that in order to use a restroom she has to walk across a lot and then into the building next store. Then from there has to go up some stairs to enter the restroom. The restroom has no bars or anything that is ADA compliant. Why not have a port-a-potty or portable bathroom that would allow handicap people access to bathrooms. It’s appalling in this day and age not to ensure that your establishment meets the needs of elderly and handicapped individuals.

Any place that chooses to turn off the kitchen 30 minutes before 11 is a joke of Orleans County. If you say you’re open for breakfast till 11 then be open. Ernst family business could have captured our business and repeat business but their sister location Gilligans Galley down the road won’t open before 11. So one closes early and tells us to got to the other location that’s closed. Do not recommend this place unless your up for hunger and disappojntment.

Food is good. But the service is sloooooooow. I’ve been here 4-5 times, mostly because the dining choices in the area are limited.
We went last week and it was pretty busy. We waited on the deck to be seated, the waitress walked by us several times and didn’t say a word. Finally we went inside and saw a sign that said seat yourself. We sat, waited 10 minutes, no one came to greet us or take our order. Knowing for past experiences that once our order was taken it would be at least 30 minutes for food, we walked out. Went down the road and had food in 15 minutes. It’s really too bad that the service and wait time is so slow. It’s a beautiful spot on the river and has a lot of potential.
